Chapter 3 The start(Ross and Valenta’s POV)

Ross P.O.V

I walked around the empty dungeon I’d been awake for hours awaiting the arrival of Valenta , Request was still asleep he didn’t seem half as unnerved as I was about this journey, the thought of that girl she was an amazing creature concealing a power but I’m not sure what it is ,I was truly shocked she accepted at first but now I’m starting to understand she is famous for the unpredictable and held in high regards with Queen Natalie herself I hardly knew this girl but I feel like I can trust her ,she isn’t a typically beautiful girl but more has an exotic powerful attractive look and a personality to match and her twin was a truly magnificent creature almost as tall as request which was shocking as she was so short her hair and his also matched her hair was platinum with a black undertone stunning a stunning pair that caught your eye firstly because they were so different but then for their beauty.

I felt Request awaken and I went to fetch his armor I wonder if they have armor I hope they do I hadn’t seen request in armor in ages he looked ready to kill I got suited up and as I was tightening my boots  and heard her footsteps they were here I felt requests power as he opened the gate and I got on.

Valenta P.O.V

We walked down the path I saw the gates opening their power must be p.k as I walked in I saw Request he had that same scary beauty but in armor it was ten times more powerful his pitch black armor tightly fitted studded hooves and under a mask fiery eyes and smocking nostrils were prevalent.  Then I looked up to were Ross sat on his back he looked unnerving and powerful. I knew I was gawking but even Angel was mesmerized .

“w-whats your power?”

“I control the elements and yours?”

“I don’t have one.” I hated lying to him but I couldn’t tell him I’ve never told anyone .Angel agreed he felt trustworthy but we couldn’t, not yet. The look he gave me like he knew I was lying scared me.

“okay we better leave it’s a long journey”

“ok”

An awkward silence filled the air and we stared up north he was right it was a long journey and through all the wrong territories the fastest rout goes through two mountain passes and a few lycan territories most lycan alpha’s don’t like people passing through and send the pack to exterminate  the possible threat . Then we had to pass through Natalie’s land which meant patrolling guards and then the river lay right in the center of no-mans land.

“Ross?”

“mm”

“we need to come up with a plan”

“a plan? for what?”

“there’s no easy way to get there and we are very outnumbered  and  I don’t think we will make it the straight rout.”

“we will ,we are stronger together and your and my power combined will be impossible to take down.”

What , how does he know. Is he bluffing ‘breath Valenta calm down keep your cool there’s no way he knows we would feel his presence in our head if he could read minds.’

“I don’t have a power didn’t I tell you that?”

“ooh must have slipped my mind” ok he bought it not like our power can be used to fight we have only ever used it to drain plants ,from what I’ve read it doesn’t work on animals.

We fell into silence again and we were approaching the Elkamire forests I knew these forests have many paths but only one leads through they were famous for bandits and rouges .
