"I swear I'm going to get a blood clot from eating this!" I laughed, gesturing to the concoction of which he had prepared.

"You won't, I bought the no-sugar kind!" Liam carried the huge bowl of ice cream over to the table, one spoon and one spork inside.

"Um, Liam. Why is there a spork?" I asked, fiddling with it while he gathered the rest of the ingrediants from the grocery bags. He stopped suddenly and stared at me, with solemn eyes.

"I don't like spoons. I never use them. I had a pet turtle when I was young and he choked on one. I haven't used one since.." His voice trailed off, but he snapped back into reality after the awkward silence. He was such a perplexing boy, Liam. He was like a huge sensitive teddy bear.

"Let's dig in!" He yelled, rubbing his palms together. I hesitated for a second then clasped my hands together and bowing my head. I silently blessed the bowl of dairy products. Thanking God for it and helping it to "nourish our bodies and feed our souls" As my mum always said. When I finished I opened my eyes to find Liam staring at me. The mutation of a fork and a spoon halway to his mouth, dripping with strawberry ice cream.

"What?" I asked, helping myself to the chocolate section of the bowl. He continued to stare.

"Stop, Liam, you're weirding me out!" I snapped my fingers infront of his eyes, hoping he was still alive and wasn't paralyzed somehow. He blinked a couple times and set down his utensil.

"Did you just pray?" He asked me, slightly smiling. I nodded and wiped my mouth with a napkin. "That's cool."

I breathed a silent sigh of relief. Niall knew I was a Christian, or at least he DID. He was too, along with Greg and my parents...but i didn't know if he still was.

"Well. Let's finish this beautiful creation and then watch a movie or something." He smiled, finishing off the strawberry. I drizzled caramel, scratch that, dumped caramel all over my side of the bowl and ate like there was no tomorrow.

I woke up with my head on a pillow. Ontop of someone's lap. The tv was off and i had a blanket over my body. I slowly lifted my head and looked up. Liam was sound asleep, breathing slowly and slightly snoring. It was adorable. I poked his nose and he shuffled, causing his hand to fall to his side. He started playing with my hair in his sleep, it felt amazing. Surely he had done it before. I looked around the hotel room, i assumed he had his own. It was dark out. I slowly grabbed my phone off the coffee table and texted Gabby.

"Gonna be home late. Dont wait up, i'm safe and sound here :)"

she texted back a minute later.

"okay doll, I'm gonna be asleep when you return. Don't make too much noise. xx"

I locked the screen and tossed it back onto the table. Liam shuffled again but continued to mess with my hair. I just layed there, pondering my life choices. Looking back on past choices I was glad I had made and some not so sure. I thought about Niall, and what he was doing at that moment. Probably sleeping since it was 11 p.m.

I also thought about Greg, and how he was doing. Being a newlywed and all. I missed my older brothers wedding...I missed one of the most important days in his life. Mom wasn't there to wipe away her happy tears. Dad wasn't there to pat him on the back, whispering those words every son wants to hear on his wedding day: Don't let me down.

"Whatcha thinking about?" I heard Liam say, groggily, causing me to jump. He laughed, voice low and hoarse.

"I'm just thinking about life" I flipped onto my back. He was still playing with my hair, even though he was awake. He was twirling it in his fingers and sometimes running his whole hand through it.

"Your hair is so soft" he smiled. It was true. I had been complimented many times on my hair.

"Thank you. What does yours feel like?" I reached up and ran my tiny hands through his very short hair. It was like petting mink, it was softer than a cloud.

"Holy shit. It's like a blanket," He laughed, "Speaking of blankets. Where did this one come from?" I snuggled up in the throw blanket that had been draped on me.

"Oh I texted Louis and he brought it up. I put it over you after you fell asleep." He adjusted the pillow under my head and layed his head back.

"Oh, you didn't have to do th-"

"I wanted to, you looked cold" He said, causing me to smile. I liked this boy, he was sweet, and helpful. I could get used to him. I barely knew him but he was...perfect.
