"I now what it's like to fall in love.."

He said that. Liam said that. I finished my song and just stared at him. His mouth was slightly open and he wasn't talking. I had to poke him a bit before he came back to life. And then he said it. It definitely took me by surprise, no lie.
"What?" I said, wide eyed. He looked up at me, silent for a bit, then he said it again.
"I know what falling in love feels like." He smiled at me. I was taken aback. Did he mean me, did he mean my voice, did he mean the song?
        "What do you me-"
"I love you, that's what I mean." He interupted. I smiled. he loved me, I guess I wasn't too bad of a singer.
"I-I love you too. I guess that shows I'm not a bad singer." I giggled, kissing his cheek. We laughed for a bit, and sat on the couch together. My head on his shoulder, my fingers strumming random tunes. I harmonized to songs he hummed to himself. I was in such a blissful mood, I forgot falling asleep. Not the first time I fell asleep ontop of Liam Payne.

I woke up on a pillow, in a bed, with covers over me. Really poufy covers, if I might add. I sat up and adjusted my glasses. my clothes were all crumpled and distressed, my shoes were beside the bed. I was still in Liams room, but Liam was nowhere to be found. Niall's guitar was no longer laying on the couch, or anywhere for that matter. I picked up my phone from the bedside table and woke it up.4 messages. 3 from Gabby and 1 from Liam.

L: Left to get food and return Niall's guitar. Be back soon. xx

G: Where are you?
G: Are you dead?
G: Can I have your shoes if you are dead?

Typical Gabby. I checked the time: 9:30 pm. Wow, I was out for awhile. I fell asleep at 4. I heard the door open and looked up. Liam was holding a bag and a carrier of drinks.
"You're up!I got you some dinner. You haven't eaten in 5 hours. I suspected you were going to be famished when you woke up." He set down the bag and drinks on the dining table and walked over to me, kissing the top of my head. I jumped out of bed and practically floated over to the table. It smelled like heaven.
"You suspected correctly. Is it Chinese? Ohhh YES!" I squealed, digging through the paper bag. I pulled out the Sesame Chicken and Vegetables with rice. He chuckled from behind me. I turned and lightly pecked his lips. I grabbed a plastic fork from the bag and sat down in a chair. I silently prayed and began eating. I scarfed it all down, because I was starving. He barely began when I finished. He was cracking up, and I couldn't help but giggle a bit.
"You're funny, you are." He laughed. I sipped my soda and crossed my eyes, causing him to laugh harder. He definitely had a sense of humour. That was a plus.
"I should get home. Gabby thinks I'm dead, and If I don't hurry, all my shoes will be gone." I scooted my chair out and grabbed my drink. He made a little duckface, sybolizing "Don't leave me" and "kiss me" at the same time. I mocked his pouty face and leaned down to kiss him, He smiled and led me down with his fingers on my chin. His lips weren't chapped, i didn't notice before cause those kisses weren't as long. I pulled away and grabbed my satchel from the coffee table.
"I'll text you." I said, blowing him a kiss before I walked out the door. I waved at Harry as I walked into the room with the elevators. every floor made a ding sound, each a different pitches. I loved the St. Regis lobby, it was beautiful and elegant. I stepped out of the revolving doors into the crisp, autumn, New York air. Yellow taxis drove by and the tall building lit up the dark sky. It was convient having my apartment be next door.
"I'm not dead!" I shouted, tossing my keys into the bowl next to the door. Gabby came rushing in, toothbrush in her mouth. She was already in her pajamas.
"WHURR HAH YEW BEEH?" I could barely understand her through the toothbrush in her mouth. But it was enough.
"At Liams. I fell asleep and when I woke up he magicaly had food. SO, I ate the delicious food and came back here. And no, you cannot have my shoes." I explained and walked into my room, picking out pj’s from the closet. I heard Gabby spit in our bathroom.
"You gotta tell me these things, Bea." She was silent for a bit while I got ready for bed, "Do you like him?" I stopped what I was doing and smiled.
        "I sang for him"
"Woah. Really? I thought that was only a special mom thing?" She sat next to me on my bed.
"Well. He kinda found out through Diana. She mentioned Niall being my brother and asked if I could sing for something and he read it. So he tickled it out of me and I used Niall's guitar and when I finished he said 'I now know what it's like to fall in love" I explained , walking into the bathroom and brushing my teeth.
"That's a pretty big step. You must have a siren voice or something." I could sense a bit of tension in her tone. I spat out the toothpasthe and looked up at her. She was messing with the ribbon on her pajama bottoms.
        "Are you mad?"
"A little bit." she answered, still messing with the ribbon.
        "Why?"
"Cause, Bea! I've known you for 3 years and you refuse to sing to me. And you've known this guy for like a week and you sing for him? I'm your best friend!" Her voice was raising, slowly but surely. I rinsed my mouth and put my hands on her shoulders.
"I'll sing tomorrow. How about that? Then you'll finally see. You know how much I love you, and I would never put a guy in front of my best friend." She smiled wryly and nodded.
"Good? Good. Night, Gabby. " I gave her a little hug and turned off the light to my room. She whsipered a goodnight and walked into her room. Tomorrow was a big day...
