Prompt: Ghost au
Part OneYoongi looked around his new home and sighed in accomplishment. He had unpacked everything and now he wanted to sleep. He laid down in his bed not bothering to change clothes. His eyes began to close when a loud bang jolted him awake. He groaned and sat up. Looking out his window a shadow moved passed from the room that was directly across from him. He frowned not realising he had neighbours. The shadow disappeared and Yoongi shrugged. Who cares, sleep was more important at the moment. He woke the next morning to stomping. It was coming from next door. He sighed. If his neighbour continued to be so loud he would have to go talk to them. He put on his usual attire and made his way to work. He was a producer. Helping trainees with debuting and how to improve. Often he spent hours at a computer, forgetting to eat meals and missing sleep. He didn't usually return home until the early hours of the morning. One of those times being that day. He was mentally exhausted and couldn't wait until he could drop into bed. He put away his computer and flopped onto the bed. He heard noise from next door again. He scowled. What the hell was a person doing at this time to make so much noise. The week continued in a similar routine. He would go to work and come home. His neighbour always making loud bursts of sound. Enough was enough. He pulled himself off the bed and walked up his neighbour's porch. He was sleepy and irritable. He knocked on the door with a little more force than needed. He huffed when no one answered after a couple of minutes. He muttered, "I know you're in there. God damn it." He knocked again. The door cracked open a little. He pushed it open fully. The house was just darkness. Not a single sign of movement. He stepped inside cautiously shouting out a hello. Strange. The noise was definitely from this house. He made his way upstairs each step squeaking from old age. He found what seemed the be the door to the room across from his. He opened the door slowly. A young boy turned in fright. He stood still staring at Yoongi, almost as though he wasn't breathing. Yoongi awkwardly waved, "Ah sorry. The door opened. I just wanted to ask could you keep the noise down. Some people are tryna sleep." The boy nodded frantically. He seemed anxious. The moon was the only source of light in the room. He could just about make out the younger's features. Curly brown locks and brown eyes. They looked sad and almost empty. His lips were a shade of red and plump. His teeth seemed a little too big for his mouth. Made him look like a rabbit if he was being honest. His skin was incredibly pale yet his build wasn't skinny. It was manly. Muscles on his arms. He was drowning in a white tshirt, jeans and timberlands. Yoongi hesitated, "Uh, well, I'm your neighbour. Min Yoongi." The boy looked at anything but him, "Jeon Jungkook." His voice was low. He had to strain to hear the words. It sounded like he hadn't been using his voice for a long period of time. Yoongi nodded in acknowledgement, "Well sorry about just entering. Nice to meet you. Um goodbye." Yoongi walked back into his own home. Something about the boy was off. And Jesus was that house freezing. He turned up his own heating, surrounding himself with his blanket cover. It wasn't any of his business.
