Yoongi scowled. How did he always manage to get roped into situations like this. Hoseok as per usual the reason. Except this time he was volunteered to help Jin at his childcare setting. They were taking the kids to the cinema as a treat and he needed help. Why did it always involve small humans. Although he wasn't too bitter about the last time as he met the handsome father of a child that had gotten lost. They had gone on a date and Yoongi had said he'd call. He hadn't and he felt terrible. Work had taken over filling everyday leaving him exhausted and to fall asleep once he reached home. It had been over two weeks and it was even a new year. The worst part being that he actually really enjoyed the younger's company. He was awkward and shy and it amazed Yoongi how even though he had a child he was still one of the most innocent people he had ever met. It was endearing. He was brought out of his thoughts when one of the small humans decided to drop his drink spilling it on himself and looked extremely sad. Yoongi bent down grumbling to himself, "It's all right. Come with me and we'll get you cleaned up and another drink before the movie starts." The kid looked up at him pausing for a second before nodding and taking Yoongi's hand. He stopped to tell Jin where he was going. Jin smiling and voice low so the children couldn't hear, "For someone who says he dislikes children you're good with them. Almost like you have a soft spot for them." Yoongi shrugged before continuing on with his plan. He glanced at the younger, "I'm Yoongi in case you missed the introduction earlier." The kid gave a small smile, "I-I'm Jihoon but my f-friends call me Woozi." Once the kid was mostly dry he took him to the counter and ordered he same drink. Before he could hand the drink to the kid another collided with him. Yoongi froze. Woozi was grinning at the other child talking to him. Seems they knew each other. What a coincidence. He did too. A voice sighed, "Minnie how many times do I ha- Yoongi?" Yoongi spinned around to come face to face with Jungkook. Before they could speak to each other Woozi pulled at his shirt, "The movie's about to start hyung." Jungkook gave him a small smile before looking down at his son, "Come on baby or we'll miss the movie." The younger man turned walking into the theatre without another word. Yoongi sighed following and taking his previous seat. The movie, Monster Truck, played in the background. Yoongi was too busy stealing glances at Jungkook to focus. Once the movie was over the parents collected them from the cinema. Yoongi turned to Jin, "Jin can I ask a favour and le-" Jin smiled, "Go. Go after him and this time don't let go. I saw you watch him. Now go." He took off searching through people for the paricular brunette. He knew people were staring at him weirdly and maybe he was crazy. After all he only met the younger recently. He didn't care though. He had never wanted someone so much in his life. Never felt this way before about anyone and damn if he wouldn't take the opportunity when he was given the chance. His eyes widened when he saw him about to exit the cinema. He prayed for his muscles wishing he had taken Hoseok's offer to exercise. His hand tugged at the back of the younger's shirt. He panted out of breath, "Jungkook!" Jungkook turned around hand clasping Minseok's protectively, "Yoongi what are -" Yoongi held up his hand to shush him. Jungkook took Minseok into his arms motioning for him to go ahead. He took a deep breath, "First I want to apologise. I didn't call and I said I would. Work kind of took over. Then Hoseok volunteered me to help Jin. I'm starting to think he's a physcic or something. Second I like you. I like you a lot. I don't care that we only met two and a half weeks ago. You make me feel something. I know you're worried about involving me in your life because you don't just have you but also Minseok. I will tell you now as long as you let me I will do my best everyday to gain your and his trust maybe even become a part of your family." His speech was interupted by Jungkook's lips connecting with his. Jungkook giggled against his lips, "You talk too much. I like you a lot too Yoongi and Minnie likes you so you have his approval. He doesn't like many people. You know I want to meet this Hoseok and thank him. He seems to be the reason we end up meeting." Yoongi nodded enthusiastically before looking down at the younger's lips. Jungkook went to lean in when a small voice made them both jump, "Daddy where's my kiss?" Jungkook chuckled before planting a kiss on his son's lips, "Now let's get you that ice-cream I promised." Minseok gazed at Yoongi hopefully, eyes sparkling, "Can Yoongi come too?" Jungkook looked at Yoongi with the same hopeful expression as his son. Yoongi nodded unable to speak. When the began their walk to the shop Yoongi mumbled, "I swear the two of you will be my death with those damn eyes and that bunny smile." Jungkook let out a giggle hearing him making Yoongi flush. When he joined their hands Yoongi found that he didn't quite mind. He seriously needed to thank Hoseok and whatever weird magic he had.
