Prompt: Graduation Day
It was finally happening. Jungkook stood in front of the mirror tugging at the mustard yellow jacket. It wasn't his favourite colour but it was mandatory. It wasn't so much that he was nervous. It was more to do with the fact it was long anticipated. He was actually doing it, he was graduating. He had doubt at times. They had been so busy with comebacks. Between learning new songs, new dances that were more intense and promotions they barely had time to themselves. However when they did he would spend it catching up and keeping up with schoolwork. It wasn't unusual to find the youngest member sitting on the living room floor, book spread out on the table in front of him. Whenever he got stuck he would seek advice from one of his hyungs, most often from Namjoon. It only felt like a few days ago that he was attending the entrance ceremony with his six hyungs. Now here he was three years later attending but for his graduation ceremony, and again his six hyungs would be beside him.
Everything might go a little easier if he could get the damn tie to go right. His hands shaking didn't really help the matter. Arms encased his own placing hands over his own. A warm breath tickled his ear, "Breathe!" So he did. While he did the said arms turned him around. Jungkook watched as the older took the tie and in swift movements had it fixed and tucked in neatly. He couldn't stop staring, "Hyung?" He didn't say anything else. He didn't need to. They had always been able to read the other with just a look. "Baby boy, why are you so nervous? We're so proud of you. I'm so proud of you. You're graduating! I know it was hard, we're always busy, but you put in so much hard work and determination. You deserve this baby boy!" Jungkook smiled, "Thank you Yoongi-ah!" There was a knock on the door indicating it was time to leave. Yoongi squeezed his hand once more before pulling him out the door. It was a quick journey and in no time he was seated, front row, holding his diploma waiting for his name to be called. Once it was he went up carefully and shook the educators hand, a small smile gracing his lips. The cause being the cheers and claps coming from his hyungs. Once finished he was swept to a small hallway where cameras and fansites would be waiting for a short interview. Answering as many questions as he could one in particular stood out, 'What would they do now, once they left, to celebrate?' He knew there would be a small party later but that was for themselves. He recalled their manager mention it was his choice to do something, not too extravagant of course. He thought of when they went out to eat, after the entrance ceremony, as a group and it had been fun. He grinned knowing what they would do, "To get jjajangmyeon with my hyungs!" The cameras flashed a few more times before said hyungs joined him for a couple photos. Taehyung holding flowers and Hoseok an envelope. All had similar proud smiles. Once they were free to go they went straight to his destination of choice. He placed himself beside Jimin as the others followed. Coincidentally he noticed they were the exact same places as before. He mentioned it to their manager and som came the idea of reinacting the positions. He knew the fans would love the idea. They talked amongst themselves enjoying the short luxury. He squeaked when a hand trailed up his thigh and stopped linking their hands. He looked as his hand was gently squeezed meeting Yoongi's gaze. His eyes soft but a smirk on his lips. Jimin who watched curiously began to whine cutely, "Yoongi hyung no fair! No being couple-y. I refuse to be a third wheel." Yoongi chuckled not moving his hand, "I can't help that my boyfriend is so adorable without trying. Isn't that right baby boy?" Jungkook blushed while Yoongi, using his free hand, simply took a bite of his food. Not forgetting to mention the find smile he had.
