*Taylor's POV*
My mother and I talked to the Lynches for while longer until we heard a scream coming from our front door.
"GUYS!" Cameron yelled in excitement and he ran over to Riker and jumped into his arms.
Everyone laughed and exchanged hugs with Cameron.
"It's so been weird without you, dude!" Rocky said.
"It's been so weird without you guys living next door! Actually, it's been quieter since your voices haven't been heard from all the way down the street!" Cameron replied while laughing. Rocky playfully punched him in the shoulder, but then gave him another hug.
"Gosh, guys, when did you all get so...tall?!" I said, looking them all up and down.
They laughed and Ryland said, "When did you get so short?!"
"Hey! It's not my fault I'm short." I said with a pout.
"Aww, Tay, being short isn't always that bad!" Riker replied while hugging me tightly.
I laughed and pulled away, looking around. I could've sworn I saw Ross glare at Riker.
Wait, is he jealous?!
"Thank you, kind sir." I curtsied at Riker.
"Anything for a beautiful maiden." Riker replied while bowing and kissing my hand. I giggled as my mom called me and Cameron to go inside to get ready.
"Where are we going?" I yelled back at her.
"To the Lynches' for dinner!"
Everybody cheered and we said goodbye. Tonight was gonna be awesome.
As I walked away, I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around my waist, stopping me in my tracks.
"Don't leave me, Tay!" Ross said while clinging onto me.
Everybody laughed and I replied,
"Ross, 2 hours isn't that long. I'll be over before you know it." I smiled and kissed his cheek before walking inside.
*Ross's POV*
When Riker hugged Taylor, I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy as she laughed. She was my best friend, my other half, my girl.
Hold up, Ross! She's not your girl, she may have a boyfriend. And even if she didn't, she may not even like you back!
As we parted to go get ready for dinner, I ran up behind Taylor and wrapped my arms around her. She stopped walking and looked up at me.
"Don't leave me, Tay!" I said with a fake sad voice. I put my head on her back, not wanting to let go.
Taylor laughed, as did everybody else.
"Ross, 2 hours isn't that long. I'll be over before you know it." She kissed my cheek and left, leaving me standing there, smiling like an idiot.
"Hey Loverboy! We gotta go get ready! If you wanna make a good impression I suggest you hurry up!" Rocky yelled at me.
I then realised that most of my family had walked away and were almost at our house next door. I smiled and quickly ran over to them.
*Cameron's POV*
I saw a crowd of people standing outside, and I wondered who they were. So I stood by the door and peeped out, only to find that my best friends were standing there in front of me!
My jaw dropped. "GUYS!" I yelled at them before running and jumping on Riker, who caught me.
Riker let me down and I hugged everybody in turn. I could see Ross and Taylor were side by side, back together again. I smirked as I thought of their old mischievous ways.
"It's so been weird without you, dude!" Rocky said.
"It's been so weird without you guys living next door! Actually, it's been quieter since your voices haven't been heard from all the way down the street!" I replied, smirking and poking my tongue out at him. Rocky playfully punched me in the shoulder, but then gave me another hug.
Me and the Lynch boys had always been close, and it was amazing to have us all back together again!
We joked around a while longer, then Taylor and the Lynches started a random conversation. I couldn't help but look at Rydel.
She was so beautiful: mid-length blonde hair, long, tanned legs, amazing eyes.. Would it be weird to have a crush on your best friend? I pushed the thought aside as Mom called us in to go get ready for the Lynches' dinner.
I saw Ross stop Taylor by wrapping his arms around her waist. I smiled to myself as I walked in. They should so go out. They're perfect for each other!
I took a quick shower, and changed into a red shirt with a leather jacket over the top; denim jeans and red converse. I didn't bring a lot of clothes, so I need to go shopping! At least these will do for now.
I walked downstairs to see Mom in a mid-length figure-hugging purple dress with silver kitten heels and matching silver jewellery. She looked beautiful.
I kissed her cheek as we waited for Taylor to come down the stairs.
*Taylor's POV*
I looked through my small bag of clothes that Cameron had put together for me before we left.
There were lots of shirts, shorts, sweatpants and jumpers, but not a lot of dresses. Ergh, I seriously needed to go shopping.
I rummaged to the bottom of the bag when I pulled out a dress.
FINALLY! THANK YOU CAMERON!
It turned out to be one of my favourite dresses: round neck, long sleeves, came to just above knee height, tight fitted, and was turquoise with a black shimmer to it.
I smiled as I slipped on the dress and found some black boot-heels, and a small black heart necklace.
I quickly curled my hair and added a small amount of makeup: light shimmer eyeshadow, mascara, golden blush and baby pink lipstick.
I walked downstairs, my curly hair bouncing, and I heard gasps as my brother and mother saw me.
"Honey, you look stunning." My mom said while examining me.
Cameron gave me a side hug.
"You look great, Tay. Now, go get Ross!" He said with an evil smirk on his face.
I shoved him and laughed as we starts walking out of our house towards the Lynches next door.
