Chapter 21: Happy Late Birthday!

*Taylor's POV*

We all climbed out of the car and walked inside the Lynches' house. As we walked in, I heard Rydel whisper to me, "Do you wanna get dressed at yours? You have all your own makeup there, after all." She asked.

I nodded and walked to the door with her, until Ross suddenly slipped in front of me, our bodies close together.

"And where do you think you're going?" He asked with a smirk.

"To get dressed at mine, you wanna come?" I answered while running my fingers through his hair.

He nodded, "Sure! Cameron said he was gonna walk over now anyway, so I'll have another guy to get ready with!"

So, me, Rydel, Cameron and Ross all walked back to mine and Cameron's house. Ross and Cameron went into Cameron's room, and me and Rydel walked into my room.

Rydel shut the door behind us, and spun on her heel to face me. "Let's get to work." She stated with a grin.

Firstly, she curled my hair tightly and sprayed it with glitter hairspray. Then I did the same for her. We then changed into our gorgeous dresses and Rydel did my makeup for me: foundation, blush, silver eye shimmer, black eyeliner, mascara, and a small amount of baby pink lipgloss. She then did her own as I adjusted my dress and slipped on my shoes.

We examined ourselves in my mirror and smiled at each other. "You ready to go?" Rydel asked.

"Definitely!" I answered as we walked downstairs.

We walked downstairs to see the boys standing at the edge of the staircase with their jaws wide open. Rydel and I smirked at each other before joining them.

*Ross's POV*

Cameron and I looked at each other in disbelief when we saw what we were going to wear to the party. The girls had done a great job! We quickly got changed into them and started to do our hair.

We were downstairs within 20 minutes of going up them.

We talked for a while until we heard the clinking of heels coming from upstairs. We looked up and our mouths dropped open. The girls looked beautiful. It was as if they were walking downstairs in slow motion.

Eventually, they got to us at the bottom of the staircase. I kissed Taylor on the cheek and gave her a quick and light hug.

"You look beautiful, babe." I said to her, making her blush. She took a few steps back and looked me up and down. She nudged Rydel, who was talking to Cameron, and said to her, "We did good, girl!" while high-fiving her.

She pulled the collar on my leather jacket down, letting her hand travel across to my cheek. We leaned in and our lips met, and we kissed until we heard a cough behind us. We pulled away and turned to see Cameron and Rydel looking at us with their eyebrows raised.

"What?!" We both exclaimed. We all laughed as Dana walked into the room and gasped.

"You all look stunning!" She gasped as she immediately got her camera out. "Come on! Picture time!"

We all stood before the huge stairway and posed, first taking serious photos, and then taking stupid photos. Then Rydel and Cameron had pictures, after them were Cameron and Taylor, then Rydel and Taylor, then Cameron and I, and finally, me and Taylor.

Firstly, we smiled and wrapped our arms around each other's waists, and Taylor kissed my cheek as I stuck my tongue out at the camera.

After many more photos, we said goodbye to Taylor's mom and walked around to the our house to go to the party.
