Chapter 13: Concert Time

*Ross's POV*

Today was Saturday. The day of our concert.

Everybody was running around, grabbing guitar cases and complaining about lost guitar picks when we heard a yell come from the front door, "DID YA MISS ME?!"

"RATLIFF!" We all yelled as we ran to the front door and tackled him in a hug.

"Woah, guys, I was only gone a week!" He exclaimed while laughing.

"A week is too long without you, dude!" Rocky answered. We all laughed.

"Now, on my way home, I found a stowaway in my luggage, and I thought I'd bring her with me." He moved out of the way to reveal his girlfriend, Kelly.

"KELLY!" We all yelled and floored her in a hug.

She giggled. "Hi guys!"

"How long are you staying for, Kel?" Rydel asked her.

"Tonight and tomorrow. Then I've gotta get back home for my uncle's birthday." She replied.

"That's great! You get to come see our concert tonight then!" Riker said happily.

"Plus, you get to meet our next-door neighbours." I said with a smirk. Everybody looked at me and a chorus of 'oooo's could be heard.

"Who is it? Do we know them?" Ratliff asked.

"It's Taylor and Cameron Parks, our old friends from Colorado." I said with a huge smile on my face.

"Oh, the infamous Taylor, is it?" Ratliff said with a smirk.

"Oh! Is Taylor the girl you like, Ross?" Kelly asked with jumping up and down.

"Uh....yeah." I said while blushing.

Both Rydel and Kelly chorused, "AWWW ROSSY HAS A CRUSH!"

Everybody laughed and went their separate ways to gather their things. I pulled Riker back a little and he turned around to face me.

"Riker, I need to ask you an important question."

He looked puzzled. "Go ahead!"

"I-I really wanna ask Taylor out tonight, can I do it by singing her a song on stage?" I asked quietly with my head down.

There was silence. I looked up to see Riker with a huge grin on his face.

"Definitely, Ross!" He exclaimed, giving me a high-five and skipping off.

I laughed to myself. That boy will never grow up.

*Taylor's POV*

"Cameron, Mom said that the concert is at 7, so you'd better start getting ready now or we won't make it!" I shouted from behind the door to his room.

He came out with blood-shot eyes and a game controller in his hand.

"Ok, ok, just one more game?"

I snatched the controller out of his hands. "Come on! We need to be there to support them!"

I walked off to my room when I heard Cameron shouting, "You're only doing this to see Ross!"

I giggled and ran to my room.

What do I wear to this type of thing?

I rifled through my clothes to eventually found a red shirt and a black shiny, shimmery skater skirt which cut off just above my knees. I added a pair of black boot-heels and black earrings. I straightened my hair and added some light makeup. I was ready. I heard my phone beep with a text:
