Chapter 15: Football game

I took the bus all the way to school. Sophie kept on texting me, but I ignored her. I felt no longer sad. All I could feel was anger. When we got to school, I found Sophie outside. She ran up to me and hugged me.

"I'm sorry this happened! Hunter's a jerk." She said to me.

"I know he is." I said.

"We will figure this out." Sophie said.

She let go of me.

"I can't go back to him." I said.

"You have to Aurora! You are the true Luna of this pack. The pack will fall if you don't become Luna, and your wolf will die." Sophie said to me.

Ella cried at her words. I sighed.

"I don't know if I can. He bloody cheated on me." I said.

We both sighed. I saw Ben walking towards us. I walked up to him and hugged into him.

"It's okay Aurora." He said.

I felt tears leave my eyes. After a minute of hugging, I let go of him. I wiped my tears. Sophie handed me my ticket. I looked back at Ben. He held his hand out to me.

"Shall we?" He said.

I smiled, and took his hand. Ella growled at the touch. We walked to the back of the field. There were crowds of other people. We found a spot and sat down. The crowds cheered for our team. We were against the bob cats. I heard from Sophie we never won against the bob cats. Hopefully this year, we will go all the way to the finals. The band played the drums loudly.

"What was your school team?" Ben asked me.

"We didn't have one." I said to him.

Ben nodded. I looked down at the band. They drummed in rhyme. I loved every second of it. I felt free for once. I saw Mandy walking out of the crowd. She walked to a far bench from me and sat down. After a few minutes more of the band playing their drums, they stopped. The football coach grabbed a microphone and tapped it. I felt goose bumps at the loud noise.

"Welcome to the 5th annual football game!" He said.

Everyone cheered.

"I would like to thank everyone for coming today. Let's hear it for the bulldogs." He said.

The crowd roared as our team came running in. Hunter leaded them into the field. Ella purred as he ran. I shook my head before any memories could pop up. As the bob cats walked in, everyone booed. I laughed at Sophie and Ben as they booed. I looked around and my eyes locked on the bitch. I didn't know a thing about her, but I hated her so much. I growled as she flipped her hair. I could just imagine me ripping the head straight off her.

"Your eyes are black." Sophie said to me.

I looked at her.

"Sorry." I said.

The coach stood between the two teams and talked to them. The football was placed down, and the game began.

*A few hours later.*

The game was almost over. We were tied with the bob cats. I had never been so into a game in my life. Ben placed his arm on my tight. I ignored it. I felt Ella cringe at it. There was a few seconds left. Someone passed it to Hunter. He ran for the goal. He made a touchdown. Everyone got up and cheered. Our team ran over to Hunter and picked him up.

"Hunter! Hunter! Hunter!" Everyone screamed.

I looked down at the snobby bitch. She was staring down at her phone. I growled at her. We heard screaming from the field. The leader of the bob cats was yelling at Hunter. He started pushing him around as he walked. Hunter took his helmet off and threw it on the ground. We all watched the leader of the bob cats hit Hunter in the face. Everyone gasped as fists were thrown. I looked around to see if anyone would try to break it up. No one moved. I looked down and saw Hunter's she wolf  didn't even notice.

"Go." Ella growled.

"I can't." I said.

"Fine. It's time I take over for once." Ella laughed.

I felt Ella start to take over my body. Once she was in complete control, she made me get up and walk down the stairs.

"Aurora?" Ben said.

He kept calling my name, but I never said anything back. Once I got to the bottom, Ella made me run. I ran as fast as I could. I ran past the she wolf and into the field. I ran towards them. Hunter already had his football gear off. The guy was on top of him punching him. I ran and grabbed him. I threw him to the ground and started punching him. I couldn't stop. All the anger I had inside of me and Ella came out into punching this guy. I didn't stop until blood poured out of his nose. Someone pulled me off. I growled as they dragged me off. I jumped up and looked at the person. It was Hunter.

"I can fight my own battles thank you." He growled.

"Looks to me you were losing that battle." I said as I laughed.

"I don't need a girl to help me fight." Hunter said.

"Now I'm just a girl?" I asked.

He went to say something, but stopped himself. I pulled my phone out and looked at it. I threw it at him.

"Give it to your new girlfriend. She'll need to more than me." I growled.

I walked away from him, hoping he would follow me. The whole school kept their eyes on me. Blood was all over my shirt and hands. I wiped my face and felt the blood smear. I walked out of the field and past Mandy. Sophie stood near the stairs. She started walking towards me.

"Leave me alone." I said.

She stopped in her tracks as I walked past her. Ben was nowhere in sight. I ran into the forest into the school and shifted. I let Ella free, not caring where I would end up. I was 100 percent, broken.
