Chapter 66: Another day

Two years later...

Ava's POV

I have spent two years with Austin, well almost two years. He loved being a werewolf. I became Luna soon after Austin was released from the hospital. Of course, Austin was Alpha. I found out that Austin's father had sent hunters to kill Austin. I dealt with those fuckers, they are no longer with us. We dethroned the Alpha of the white fang pack. We united the pack together. We haven't seen the man in two years. If he was smart, he wouldn't come back.  Ever since we united the packs, we have had nothing but peace. Austin and I moved into our own house. It isn't far from the pack house or my parent's house. We spend most of our mornings at my parent's house. I'm so use to running in the morning around my old house.

I made my rounds around the pack and back to the house. As I saw Austin, I stopped. I was out of breath. I walked all the way back over to him.

"Keep running babe. You only did one lap." Austin said.

The baby in his lap screamed as he saw me.

"Did you have a baby? I didn't think so." I said as I picked the baby up from Austin's lap.

"You had a baby eight months ago, you should be fine by now." He said.

"AJ kept waking up last night. I wonder if he is having bad dreams." I said.

I remembered the bad dream I had every night. I found out why I was having those dreams. I was seeing my grandfather in his last minutes. He did horrible things to my mother and father. He had my mother locked up and beaten.

I shook the thoughts out of my head. AJ places his hands on my cheeks. I looked back at him and saw the worry in his eyes. I smiled and kissed his forehead. He giggled as I did so. I handed AJ back to Austin and wiped my forehead.

"I thought I was readying to start running, I guess I'm not." I said.

It was a hot summer day, my birthday just passed. I was eighteen and had a baby, as my mother did. I looked down at my hand and played with my ring on my finger.

"You can go see Xavier, I'll bring AJ inside." Austin said.

"Thanks." I said.

I kissed Austin quickly and smiled. I said my goodbyes to them and watched up the driveway. I took my keys out from inside my pocket and unlocked the car. I got into it and started up the car. I looked into my mirror and saw AJ'S car seat. I missed him already. I pulled out of the driveway and honked as I drove past. I drove to Xavier's apartment. He lived in a different apartment than Olivia's mother. I pulled into the driveway and parked in the mother's with a baby parking spot. I would only be a minute.

I got out of the car and quickly walked into the building. I waved to the people at the front counter and got to the stairs. I ran up three flights and walked thru the door. I walked down the hallway and to the last door. I knocked at the door and waited for a answer. The door unlocked and Olivia opened the door.

"Morning Luna." She said as she opened the door for me.

"Pfft." I said as I walked in.

"He's in the room, go on." Olivia said.

I walked to Xavier's room and opened the door. He was sat on the floor playing with Dakota. Dakota looked up at me and got up.

"Auntie!" He yelled as he ran over

I picked him up and hugged into him. I put him down and he ran back over to Xavier. 

"Are you ready to go with Aunt Ava?" Xavier asked Dakota.
