Aunt Mandy drove as fast as she could back to the pack. Once we were there, we didn't have to worry. We drove into my house's driveway. Aunt Mandy didn't turn the car off, which confused me.
"It's not safe to keep Austin's car here. I'm going to bring it to the garage, that way it won't look weird." She said.
I nodded and got out of the car. I got the suit case out of the trunk and closed it. I waved to Aunt Mandy as she pulled out of the driveway. We walked into the house and found it quiet. I could tell my mother was in the house, but not the rest of the family. I brought Austin upstairs to the bedroom he would be staying in. It was Xavier's old room. Sigh, I missed him so much. I tried not to show my emotions around Austin and moved on. I placed his suitcase on his bed. I showed him the walk in closet and the bathroom.
"If you need anything, I'm only across the hallway." I said.
He nodded. He looked around the bedroom and plopped down on the bed. I knew he wanted space, so I left the room. I walked down stairs and into the living room. I sat down in front of the piano and lightly pressed some keys. I began humming as I played. Humming turned into quiet singing. Quiet singing than turned into loud singing.
"Wow." Austin said behind me.
I jumped from my seat and fell to the ground. I grunted and held my head. He ran over to me and helped me up.
"I didn't know you could sing." He said.
"I can't really, I'm not good. " I said.
"Your voice is beautiful, I love it." Austin said.
I smiled at him. I have only known him for two days and I already like him alot. I could tell he liked me as well, the sparks in his eyes told me so.
"How are you liking your bedroom?" I asked to break the awkward silence.
"It's great. I have a small bedroom back home as you saw. I shared a bathroom with my family. It's going to get some getting use to." He said.
I brought him to the kitchen and showed him around. My stomach growled as I realized I hadn't eaten anything yet.
"Are you hungry?" I asked.
"Starving." Austin answered.
I dug into the fridge, looking for something easy to make. I looked up at the time and saw it was almost dinner time. I closed the fridge door and turned back to Austin.
"The omega's will be here soon to make dinner. We can wait until then." I said.
I led Austin downstairs to our basement. The basement was kind of mine. The twins never go down there and Xavier came down there sometimes to play with me. I turned the lights on and looked at my flat screen TV.
"You have a game room? This is sick." He said.
I walked over to my bean bag chair and plopped down. Austin sat in the bean bag chair next to me. I grabbed the TV remote and turned the TV on. It revealed the last game I was playing, GTA 5.
"I never had a game system. The most I had was a Nintendo when I was ten. That shit was my whole world." Austin said.
"We have always had game systems. I never got to play it until a couple of years ago. My older brother taught me how to play." I said.
I bit my lip as I said older brother. I hoped he didn't ask about him. If he did, I was going to cry. I sat silent for a moment to see if he would say anything, but he kept quiet.
"Do you want to play? I can do two players." I said.
"Sure, I love playing GTA. I use to go over to my friend's house and play GTA with him." He said.
