I started waking up to the coldness. I rolled over and noticed Hunter was gone. I just shrugged it off and rolled back over. The mattress heating pad had been turned off, which made me mad. I pulled the blanket over me and curled into a ball. I started to drift off to sleep again when all of a sudden the door flung open.

"Mommy it's Christmas!" Xavier yelled.

He climbed onto my bed and shook me. I growled as he shook my side. I heard Hunter chuckle as he walked in. I rolled over to face Xavier. His eyes were lit with excitement. I yawned and rubbed my eyes.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"It's almost nine. Come on down stairs. I'll bring Xavier down." Hunter said.

I nodded. Hunter grabbed Xavier and walked out, shutting the door behind him. I grabbed my phone and headed the bathroom.  I turned the light on and looked in the mirror. I still had the sleeper Mandy bought me. I did my business and then grabbed my hair brush. I brushed all the knots out of my hair and quickly brushed my teeth. I splashed my face with water to wake me up a little bit. I dried my face and left my room. I slipped my phone into the pocket and walked down the hallway. I noticed Mandy's bedroom door was open. I poked my head in and saw she wasn't in there. I walked down the stairs and grabbed my slippers. I put them on and walked into the kitchen.

"Merry Christmas!" Isabella said to me.

She pulled me into a hug and squeezed me tight.

"Now I know where Hunter gets his strength. Merry Christmas." I said as I patted her back.

She let me go and turned back to Hunter. My mother got up and kissed my cheek.

"Aurora, go get Mandy and Chris. They are out front shoveling snow." Isabella said.

"I'm guessing it snowed last night." I said as I walked away.

I opened up the curtains in the living room and looked out. There was way more snow from last night. I looked over at Chris and Mandy. They had cleared the driveway. The roads were full of snow, so there was no way of us leaving by car today. Chris and Mandy had stopped shoveling and were just throwing snow balls at each other.

"They have been shoveling for an hour. They gave up ten minutes ago and are just fooling around." My mother said.

Chris had hit her with a snowball so hard it knocked her over. He got down on his knees from laughing so hard.

"They are cute together. Chris would make a really good Beta." My mother said as she crossed arms.

"Chris has a mate out there somewhere. I don't want him breaking Mandy's heart." I said.

"Aurora." My mother said.

"Yes?" I asked.

Her eyes looked glossy, like she was going to cry. She breathed in deeply and spoke.

"Never mind, don't worry about it. Go get them."  She said.

I nodded and walked towards the door. I opened the door and the wind hit me.

"Chris! Mandy! Come back inside!" I yelled.

I closed the door without hearing for an answer. It was too bloody cold out. I walked into the living room and found the others in there. Xavier was sat on the floor next to his stocking. The front door flung open and slammed shut. Mandy walked in first and sat over by the fireplace.

"It's freezing outside." She said as she shook.

She still had her sleeper on, how cute. Chris came in next and sat next to Mandy.
