Chapter 20: Locked away

Aurora's POV

I woke up in a cold place. My vision was blurry at first. My head throbbed in pain. I went to touch my head, but I couldn't reach it. I looked up as my vision went back to normal. My hands were chained to the wall. I tried to wiggle them free, but they wouldn't budge. I looked down at my feet. They were also chained. I looked around. I was in a cell. Great, I have been kidnapped. I heard footprints off in the distance.

"Is she awake?" A man asked.

"She should be. She's been out for two days." Another man said.

The voices got closer and closer. Two men stopped in front of my cell. They both looked in at me. I growled at them. One of them unlocked the door and walked in. He shut the door after himself and walked over to me. He grabbed a stool and sat it in front of me. He sat on it and let out a long breath.

"What were you doing on our land?" The man asked.

"I didn't know I was in anyone's land. I'm very sorry." I said.

"Sorry doesn't cut it. I don't believe you didn't know you were on my land." He growled.

"I didn't really know. I wouldn't have gone onto your land if I knew it belongs to someone." I said.

The man sighed.

"Who are you working for rogue?" He asked.

"No one. I'm by myself. "I said.

"No way you're by yourself. You wouldn't make it out there." He said.

"I was only outside for a day before your men picked me up." I said.

The man wiped his face and sighed.

"Alpha won't like this, not one bit." He said.

I turned my head in confusion. Where the fuck am I?

"My name is Jimmy. You can call me Jim." He said.

I nodded my head. I started coughing. My throat felt like sand paper.

"I'm not giving you water if that's why you're fake coughing." Jim said.

I tried talking, but I kept on coughing. I couldn't stop.

"Jim! Come up here! I need to talk to you about the execution!" Someone yelled.

"What execution?" I asked as I coughed.

"You will find out soon." Jim laughed.

He got up from his stool and walked out of the cell. He locked the door behind me. I kept on coughing until I started feeling light headed. I fell in and out of consciousness. I heard someone walking into the cell. I was starting to go unconscious again when I felt something cold hit me. I jumped out of my skin. Jimmy was standing in front of me with a bucket. He threw a bucket of water on me. I started shaking. I wasn't sure if it was because I was cold, or if I was starting to panic.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I shook my head.

"Do you feel better?" Jim asked.

I shrugged my shoulders. He sighed.

"Alpha is coming to look at you, remain calm." He said.

I nodded. I heard footsteps coming from the hallway. My heart started beating really fast.

"Alpha." Jimmy called out.

"Where are you?" The man said back.

"The last cell to your left." Jim said.
