The footsteps. They echoed behind me like someone banging as hard as they could on a drum. My heart started to race, and my forehead started to feel hot. My hands started to shake like leaves on a tree during a windy day. I was having another Panic Attack. I desperately grabbed my Mom's hand, hoping that it would suddenly release, but nothing of the sort happened. The pounding got closer behind me, and I could see the shadowy figure of a tall man out of the corner of my eye. I gasped, pulling my hand as hard as I could away from my Mom's grip, but she didn't let go. The burning sensation in my hands started to spread through my arms, and I could smell blood in the air. My blood. My hands had begun to bleed from all of my efforts to free myself from bondage.
"What do you want? Why did you kill her?" My voice trembled, not so much in fear, but in anger. "Why did you KILL HER??" The tears started to stream from my eyes at a much faster rate, and my right eye felt like it was on fire. My whole body felt like it was burning up, and my heart was pounding out of my chest.
"I didn't kill her. You did." I could hear a Man's voice, not the man I had heard in my dream. It was connected to an accent that I couldn't place. I could feel the burning in my body start to cease, and in its place came an unbearable stabbing sensation, like I was being knifed through the head with a machete.
"NO!! STOP IT, PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!" I screamed, the daylight above me was starting to waver. I felt like I was going to pass out, but I fought the darkness away. I would survive this.
"Come with me. I need someone like you, a telepath." His voice burned like fire against my ears. I grimaced from all of the pain.
"Why would....I ever...go with you??" I struggled to form the words, and I could hear countless numbers of screams in my head. "Why....are..you doing this?" My voice was faint, and I could hear the man laugh at me. He was laughing at my pain.
"Because you are the child of someone I want to kill. Desperately. And if I have you, he will have to come to me." And then the darkness started to bubble up again. It started to block my vision, but I could still make out his arms reaching for me. My Mom toppling to the ground in a heap, and the ground covered with blood.
"Screw you...." I whispered, and then the darkness filled my head, and I lost consciousness. I could still feel though. I could feel someone carrying me, two large hands holding my body, cradling me like a baby.
Mercy's Dream

I was walking around in the tunnel again, there weren't any people there this time though. Just me. I walked slowly towards a strange door that loomed in front of me, and it opened on contact. Like I was really there. I walked through the door, seeing a strange room. I could see the man from my dream sitting in a chair in the middle of the room. It was dark in there. A strange type of dashboard was looming in front of him, and one of the needles was going awry.
"Hello?" I asked, my heart thudding in my chest. I could see the man turn around, looking surprised. His blue eyes seemed to observe me, and then his face turned sorrowful.
"Why are you here?" He was British, I think. His voice was smooth against my ears, like glass. I thought for a while, wondering what I should say to him.
"I was kidnapped by someone. I don't know who. I need help. He killed my Mom, and I think he wants to kill me." I could see his eyes widen, and he moved his chair, closer to me. It was a wheelchair, I noticed, with a large X carved into the wheel. I could feel him searching my mind, filing through my memories. I could see the man's figure pop into my mind, a bit harshly. The burning feeling soon returned to my body, and I cringed with pain. My head was pounding, and my heart was pounding even harder. I shrieked loudly as I crumpled to the ground, pulling myself into a ball. My whole body shook tremendously.
