Paris' superhero duo meet Superman & Wonder Woman

Chapter 9: Heroes vs. Villains

Once Ladybug and Cat Noir made it to the building, Lex Luthor, Silver Banshee, and Shock Wire appeared.

"We're here. Now, where's Chloe?" Ladybug said.

"She's fine, for now. If you want her back, then surrender and hand over the miraculouses," Shock Wire demanded.

"If you want our jewels, then you're gonna have to fight us for them," Cat Noir said ready to fight.

"That can be arranged," Silver Banshee said before using her sonic scream.

The heroes dodged the attack, and began to fight. Silver Banshee was taking Superman, Wonder Woman had Luthor, and Ladybug & Cat Noir took on Shock Wire.

"Superman, use your x-ray vision to see where Chloe is and rescue her. Wonder Woman, Cat, & I can handle the 4 of them," Ladybug said.

"All right," Superman said disappearing into another part of the building to find Chloe.

Luthor attacked Cat from behind, but he dodged it, and the attack ended up hitting Silver Banshee. Ladybug used her yo-yo to grab Shock Wire by the foot and swung her around to Luthor. Wonder Woman used her lasso to pin Shock Wire down long enough for Ladybug to grab the bracelet on her left wrist and release the akuma.

While Cat and Wonder Woman kept Luthor and Silver Banshee busy, Ladybug used her yo-yo to capture and purify the akuma. Once Shock Wire was turned back into Lila, Ladybug took her to a nearby building for safety.

By the time Ladybug returned, Superman appeared with Chloe on his back.

"Superman, get Chloe back to her father and friend. We'll finish off these villains," Ladybug said.

After Superman flew off to take Chloe to safety, Ladybug joined Cat Noir and Wonder Woman in their fight against Luthor and Silver Banshee. Before Silver Banshee could scream again, Cat Noir used his staff to trip and kick her to Luthor. With Luthor distracted by Wonder Woman, Ladybug took the opportunity to jump him. She used her yo-yo to pin Luthor down, giving Wonder Woman the opportunity to punch him, and disarm him.

Luthor knew he was outmatched, even with Superman gone, so he decided it was best if he escaped. Using his electric defense system on the roof, he kept the 3 heroes distracted long enough for him to escape.

"Cat, LOOK OUT!!" Ladybug pushed Cat out of the way from an electrical attack, and got her left arm injured.

"LADYBUG!!!" Cat went over to comfort his partner.

Wonder Woman took care of Silver Banshee, but Luthor escaped. Superman arrived back to see that Ladybug was injured, and Silver Banshee apprehended.

"Where's Luthor?" Superman said.

"He got away, but we apprehended Silver Banshee and Shock Wire was dealt with," Wonder Woman explained.

"Ladybug, are you okay?" Superman asked.

"I'll be fine. How bad is it?" Ladybug said standing up.

(Superman uses his x-ray vision to check) "No bones appear to be broken. Judging from the wound, I'd say you have a bruise, nothing permanent. Just put some ice over it for a while, and you should be okay."

"I see. Thank you. Wonder Woman, do you think you can take Lila back to her family? I left her by that building over there when she was turned back to normal," Ladybug said pointing to the building where Lila's at.

"Sure thing. You both should get some rest after today. Thanks for helping us out, but I think that as long as Luthor is here in Paris, our fight isn't over yet," Wonder Woman said.

"I agree. Until next time, heroes," Cat Noir said as he and Ladybug left.

When that was over Superman took Silver Banshee to Arkham, and Wonder Woman took Lila home.  When Superman returned to Paris, he was about to go to his hotel room when he saw Cat Noir.

"Cat, you ok?" Superman asks.

"Oh, yeah. I'm fine. Just a bit concerned about Ladybug," Cat said.

"You have feelings for her, don't you?" Superman asks.

(Cat blushes a little) "I-I-I-I...yes. I want to tell her, but I think she just wants us to stay the way we are."

"That's mainly Ladybug's choice. If you want her to know how you feel about her, then you should go for it. In my opinion, I think you should also tell her who you really are," Superman said smiling.

"I want to tell her who I am, but she thinks it would be best if we don't know who we are under our masks," Cat says looking at his ring.

"To be honest, Cat Noir, I see a lot of myself in you. I fell in love with someone I didn't think I could be with, because I didn't want her to be put in danger or because I didn't think she'd like me if she knew who I really was. Once I revealed myself and came clean with her, everything turned out great in the end, for both me and the woman I love. If you want Ladybug to know how you feel about her, and her to feel the same, then you're going to have to come clean, with everything," Superman explained.

(Cat Noir looks at his ring before smiling) "Thanks for the advice, Superman. I should get going. Have a good day," Cat said before heading home.

After returning to their homes and detransforming, Marinette and Adrien went to get some sleep. Marinette managed to hide her wound from her parents, patched it up, and put ice over it to heal.

Adrien was still in deep thought of what Superman and he had talked about regarding his feelings for Ladybug. It wasn't until later on that he made up his mind.
