Paris' superhero duo meet Superman & Wonder Woman

Chapter 11: Lex Luthor's final plan

Luthor knew that with Silver Banshee back in Arkham Asylum, and Shock Wire returned to normal, he was on his own. He needed to find a way to fight the 4 superheroes without being defeated. After going over the video footage of the fight between him and the superheroes, he realized that if he was to defeat them, he'd need to hit them where it'd hurt the most.

He theorized that Cat Noir has feelings for Ladybug by his reaction when she was injured. He already knew what Superman's weakness was, but he still needed to figure out how to stop Ladybug and Wonder Woman. The first thing to do was to upgrade his armor and weapons.

"I need to find a way to defeat them! (Suddenly, he came up with an idea) And I think I know how to do it," Luthor said.

(He pulls up a map of Paris, and sets his eyes on the high school Marinette, Adrien, and their friends go to) "What better way to draw out superheroes, than by holding hostages, especially the Mayor's daughter and a bunch of innocent teenagers," Luthor said to himself.

3 days went by, and there was still no activity from Luthor. The 4 heroes decided to meet at the Eiffel Tower to discuss what to do.

"Anything about Luthor?" Ladybug asks.

"Nothing, and I don't like it," Superman says.

"If Luthor hasn't popped up yet, then that means he's planning something big," Cat Noir theorized.

"That does make sense. For now, keep an open eye out on things. Luthor always aims to go big when it comes to his plans," Wonder Woman says.

"We'll keep our eyes and ears peeled. For now, I suggest we all should get going back to our civilian forms before anyone we know here gets suspicious of where we are," Ladybug said.

"Agreed. See you soon," Cat Noir said as he was just about to leave.

"Wait! Take these," Superman said handing them com links.

"I take it these are in case we find something and we need to contact you," Ladybug theorized.

"Yes. If any of us find anything, then press the center red button, and we'll hear it, and know where your location is," Superman said.

"All right, we'll remember," Cat Noir said before leaving.

With that, Ladybug left as well, and Superman and Wonder Woman flew off, going their separate ways.

The next day, Marinette and Adrien went to school with the rest of their friends. They were on their way to lunch when an explosion from the ceiling came, and robot drones came out. Everyone began to run, and Marinette went with Alya. A drone fired a laser, separating the two. The same with Adrien and Nino.

"Marinette, are you okay?!?!" Alya asks in a worried tone.

"I'm okay, Alya. Get somewhere safe. I'm going to go and try to call for help!" Marinette said before running off.

"Adrien, dude, you all right?!?!" Nino asks in a scared tone.

"Don't worry about me. Get to safety, and I'll call for help!" Adrien said before running off.

After transforming into Ladybug and Cat Noir, they called Superman and Wonder Woman. Upon receiving calls from them, Superman and Wonder Woman rushed over to a nearby building.

"Ladybug, what's going on?" Wonder Woman asks

"Luthor. He sent in drones to hold everyone inside that high school over there hostage. We need to act fast!" Ladybug explained.

Just then, nearly half of all of Paris' power went down, except for TV and radio stations. Luthor appeared on the screen.

"Citizens of Paris, I interrupt your daily lives today for breaking news. From now on, I will be controlling Paris. Everything will be going my way. Mt 1st order as Emperor is to have the superheroes, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Superman, and Wonder Woman surrender themselves to me, that is unless they want every teenager and adult in Collège Françoise Dupont to be found injured or worse."

After Luthor finished his transmission, the TVs and radios turned off for a minute before all power returned.

"We have to stop Luthor," Wonder Woman said.

"I agree, but first, we have to free the hostages at the school before we act. If we go after Luthor, then people will die," Ladybug said.

"I agree with Ladybug's plan. Let's go!" Superman said.

With that decided, the 4 superheroes enter the schoolyard to rescue everyone.

"Ladybug, you and Cat Noir free the hostages. Wonder Woman and I will take care of the drones," Superman said.

"On it!" Ladybug and Cat Noir said.

Superman used his heat vision, and ice breath to destroy drones, and Wonder Woman use her strength and lasso to destroy drones. Ladybug & Cat Noir worked on freeing the students and teachers.

"Quickly, slide down!" Cat Noir said.

Cat Noir used extended his staff to be used as a pole for the students and staff to slide down from a window. With everyone safe, Ladybug and Cat Noir went back inside to help Superman and Wonder Woman. With the added help, all the drones were destroyed.

The students went back inside to thank the superheroes, but the 4 of them had to leave to find and stop Luthor.

"Everyone, get back to your families, and stay inside until everything is taken care of! Superman, Wonder Woman, Cat Noir, let's go! We have a villain to stop!" Ladybug said before using her yo-yo to swing to another building with her partner and allies behind her.
