Nia walked inside the apartment and saw that her band mates along with William were seated together on the couch, discussing something that seemed to be important.

"I uh, didn't know we were gonna have a meeting today. Sorry if I came late." She said and sat down next to Casey.
"Nia,what happened last night when you went out with Casey at the Olive Garden?" William asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Um, we just ate and got to know each other. Why?" Nia said, feeling nervous and uncomfortable.
"I don't think that that's the full story..." William said.
"I don't understand, what are you talking about?" Nia asked.
Miranda sighed and passed the laptop to her with an article already open.

"CALUM HOOD SPOTTED WITH A FELLOW BAND MEMBER AT THE OLIVE GARDEN

5 Seconds of Summer has been taking a break after the release of their second album in Los Angeles. While everyone else in the band has been catching up with friends and family, Calum Hood has been spotted with Hey Violet drummer, Nia Lovelis.

The two were spotted entering the Olive Garden when a small group of fans came to take pictures with the bassist. Apparently, one girls said something about Nia and her past band, Cherri Bomb which pissed her off. After standing up for herself, she was pushed to the ground and Calum was left to scold the fans and pick her up. See the video here.

Nia clicked on the video and it displayed her and the fans from last night. She still had bruises at the back of her legs after that incident. She sighed, closed the tab and passed the laptop back to Miranda.

"Have you read the comments yet?" William asked.
Nia shook her head.
"I don't think I want to." She said.
"Half of them were saying that you were acting too deffensive and the other half dissed the fans. What did I tell you?" William said.
"Be polite and get out of there as fast as possible. But, they came for Calum and not me and he didn't walk out on them." She said.
"I see..." William said. "Where is Calum and where have you been anyway?" William asked.
"We went to walk the dogs at the park." Nia said.
"And, what are your plans for tonight?" William asked.
"Nothing." Nia replied.
"What about tomorrow?" William asked.
"He said he was gonna introduce me to his family." He said.
"Good." William said and patted her shoulder. "Well, I'll check on you guys in two days. I'm off to talk to Calum and the boys now." William announced.
"Okay, bye." Casey said before William walked out the door.
"What, do you guys think this is my fault?" Nia said.
"No, it's just that you were being too deffensive. You could've just said it straight." Rena said.
"Yeah, people are gonna think that we're being deffensive because what we're trying to say isn't true." Miranda said.
"I'm sorry but, you guys know how I am when people bring up our past." Nia said.
"It's okay, we know but, everyone else doesn't." Casey said.
"We can't force them to believe something if they already chose to believe in something else." Miranda said.
"Yeah. It'll probably make them hate us more." Rena explained.
Nia shook her head. "I need a minute alone." She said.

She removed her shoes and went upstairs to her and Rena's room. She plopped down onto her bed, attempting to fall asleep even though it was almost noon. Her phone started to ring, she checked the caller ID, it was Calum. She pressed 'answer' and pressed the phone to her ear.

"Hello?" She said.
"Hey, what happened with William?" Calum asked.
"He just showed me that what happened with the fans last night went viral and not in a good way." Nia said.
"Did you check the comments?" He asked.
"No, I was too scared." She said. "Did you see it?"
"Yeah," She heard him let out a whoosh of air. "Believe it or not, there's more hate on those fans than on you. So, don't feel too bad about it." He said warmly.
"Thanks." She said. "I had fun again today." She giggled.
"So did I. I like spending time with you, I really do." Calum said. "Anything else you wanna do today?" He asked.
"No, not really. I think I just need some time to think today." Nia said.
"Okay, I'll see you again tomorrow then." He said.
Nia smiled. "I'm looking forward to it." She said before hanging up.
