The captain unslung a large axe that looked like it could chop through an Iron Wood tree. Rody took a knife and a large bow. They set out when the mist had lifted.
"Boy, have ye ever hunted a bear?"
Rody shook his head "No Captain"
"Well than that explains why you brought a bow, a bear doesn't cower at arrows." The captain I no vvibbbb be b room out a spear and handed it to Rody.
"This will hurt a bear."
Rody stumbled as the weight of the spear hit him. He slung it over his shoulder. The captain opened the door and the entered the dewy morning. The Captain sniffed, as if to track the bear. He smelled a storm so his crew would have to leave soon. He beckoned Rody to some tracks. They where rabbit tracks.
"Rody the bear is near by."
Rody gave him a bewildered look.
"How do you know."
"This rabbit was running."
Rody gave a sage nod.
The captain cringed.
As soon as they saw the bear Rody almost screamed. The captain put calloused hand over his mouth. The bear was ripping a deer to shreds. Rody saw its humanoid figure tearing meat off and putting in its mouth. The captain was awestruck at how big that bear was. Rody felt a twig snap, the captain cursed an the bed turned its blood shot eyes at them. Both charged in, the captain went insane with his axe and Rody tried to help with a poke or two. After a nice jab the bear turned its gazed to Rody. The captain was in the woods. The bear lumbered toward him. Rody backed up giving jabs. The captain charged in. The bear sent a flying backhand. Rody dodged some of the impact. The captain heard a sickly crunch as Rody went flying as the bear approached Rody, he flung his axe. He sent a prayer to the Maker to guide the axe. He blinked and when he opened eyes he saw the axe firmly embedded in the beats skull. The bear roared it last and crashed down.
"'Bout time!" Sighed the captain as he carried Rody away.

Rody's eyes cracked open to the peaceful lulling of a ship.
Why am I here.
The door of a cabin creaked open and the captain came out.
"Rody we have to talk.
