There you were, waiting for your no-good boyfriend to pick you up. You reached into your pocket, and shot him a text.

You: where are u??

B/F: can't make it, got work.

'Ugh, today out of all days!' you thought. It was raining, and you were cold. You trudged your way over to a cafe, and ordered a latte.

You were shivering uncontrollably. "Hey there, mind if I join you?" You heard a voice say. You jolted upright, scared out of your wits. You saw a blue hedgehog, with emerald green eyes, waiting expectantly for an answer.

He seemed trustworthy to you so you just shrugged. "Why not?"

"Thanks pal! So, what's your name?" He asked, taking a sip of his coffee.

" I could be asking you the same thing, blue-dude," you said, gulping down some of your latte.

He looked at you for a while before saying, "I guess you're right. Sonic's the name, speed's my game!" He exclaimed, giving you a thumbs up and a wink.

"Ugh, fine. I'm (y/n)," you grumbled.

"Ew that's gross! That couple has got no shame!" Sonic yelled, covering his eyes.

You looked over to where he was looking. What you saw, shocked the living day lights out of you. There was your boyfriend, sitting with his arm around another girl, kissing.

You were angry. You stomped out of the cafe and sat on a nearby bench, shivering. "Hey (y/n)! Wait up!" The azure hedgehog ran out of the cafe, and hesitantly sat down next to you. "What's up? Did I say something?" He asked, sounding apologetic.

"It's just that-oh, where do I start?" You said, a single tear sliding down your cheek.

"Wherever you'd like," Sonic responded, placing his hand on your cheek and wiping your tear with his thumb. This caused a faint blush to appear on your cheek.

"My boyfriend is cheating on me," you said, and began to sob into his shoulder.

"Hey, hey (y/n)?" He pushed your chin up so you were staring him in the eyes. "He doesn't know what he's missing, and what a beautiful girl you are," he whispered, before placing his lips on yours.
