drabble set #1 - sonic characters

manic the hedgehog

You danced around your room, getting ready for the concert. You were finally going to see Sonic Underground, after many days of persuading your father. You quickly put on some mascara and ran downstairs, waiting for your best friend to show up.

As you heard the bell ring, you shot up from your spot on the couch and ran to the door, opening it to reveal your best friend, (b/f/n). "Are you ready?" She anxiously asked, as you grabbed your purse and quickly nodded. "Well, let's go!" She yelled, running to her car.

You got into the passengers seat while cranking up your music. As you bobbed up and down, you felt yourself getting more and more excited. "We need to be free like the wind across the desert sand~!" You sung, waving your arms back and forth. (B/f/n) giggled a little, before parking the car and getting out.

You two made your way to your seats, just as the band was walking on stage. You dreamily sighed, staring at Manic, the hedgehog you've been crushing on. Tucking a strand of your (h/c) hair behind your ear, you screamed, and overall had the time of your life.

"Now, my brother Manic is going to choose a volunteer to come and sing with us!" Sonia yelled, motioning for her brother to pick a lucky audience member. You raised your hand as (b/f/n) picked you up on her shoulders, trying to get Manic's attention.

Apparently it worked, because you found yourself being led to the stage, and a microphone being placed in your hands. You sang while the band played, dancing like your life depended on it, until you tripped on a wire.

Manic caught you just in time, but you ended up falling on top of him, and you nervously chuckled, hues of red colouring yours and Manic's cheeks.

The crowd chanted for you two to kiss, and you could just hear (b/f/n) yelling over top of everyone. "It would be a great finale," Manic said. You blushed as he placed a hand behind your head and pushed your head down, his lips embracing yours.

Your eyes widened but quickly closed as you enjoyed the moment, finally happy that you got to be with your dream boy.
