drabble set #1 - sonic characters

You were walking around in your favourite forest, to read (f/b) in peace and serenity. You sat under a beautiful cherry blossom tree, and began to read. You were nearly done your book when you heard a branch snap. A dark object fell in front of you and laid there, motionless. A much smaller and shinier object fell next to it.

At first you backed further into the tree, but when you realized the creature was unconscious, you decided to investigate. The creature seemed to be a male, and he had black quills with crimson streaks. You confirmed that he was a hedgehog. Something shiny caught your eye.

You went to the smaller item and realized it was...an emerald?! You gently picked it up and felt power surge through your veins. You went back to the hedgehog.

He stirred and opened one crimson eye, then the other shot open and he jumped to his feet. "State your business," he said in a deep monotone voice, pulling out a gun from his quills.

Your eyes widened and you took a few shaky breaths. "My business? I was reading," you replied, holding up your book. He saw that you were holding his emerald.

He angrily snatched it from you and said "It's rude to touch someone else's belongings," You stuttered a quick apology and looked at him. His look softened and he ran his hand through your (h/c) hair, setting down his gun. A blush spread across your cheeks, as you were not expecting this.

"You remind me of her," he whispered, gazing into your (e/c) eyes. You were confused, but you decided against asking him who he was speaking of. Just as you were about to turn around, a strong hand turned your face back where soft lips met yours. Sparks flew in your ears as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
