Chapter 35

Tracie's POV

Sitting in the kitchen, I could hear Madison's carefree laugh. She was much happier since they got together. She was always smiling, always laughing, there hasn't been a dull moment since. 

Justin treated Madison with respect, knew how to take care when she was down, how to cheer her up, even after she got home from the hospital Justin was there for her. 

Taking a few sips from my red wine, I was thinking about my own relationship. Sean and I were so in love.  I spoil Sean so much, he spends so much time in the office and it's nice for him to come home to a cooked dinner, clean house and some quality time for the both of us. 

He also spoils me too, when he has days off work he'd bring me places, or just even give me a single rose with a breakfast in bed, it's the little things that really make my heart melt. 

I was pulled out of my trance when the door opened. 'Hunny I'm home' Chirped Sean. Smiling to my self I put down my glass and headed out to see him. 'How come your home early?' I asked as he took off his coat. 'Not really busy today.' I nodded.

I heard Madison's laugh and her screams as she ran around her room screaming at Justin not to get her tickles. 'Young love' Sean said as he wrapped his hand around my waist and pulling me in for a soft kiss. 'Would you like something to eat dear?' I asked him. Shaking his head he kissed me again but it was much more passionate. I pulled away, 'Not while the kids are upstairs' I smirked. Turning on my heels I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass from the cabinet, pouring some red wine into the glass. 

I handed the glass to Sean and picked up my own glass taking a swig from it. 'So how was work?' I asked. 

'Well, For your information Shawn Mendes came to my office today, and said he would love to help Madison out with her career. So starting tomorrow at 11:30 she's to be in the studio everyday for the next week for an hour or two.' I got so excited when he said that. It was Madison's dream to sing in a studio, and work along other celebrities. 

'Thank you so much Sean, she really is going to love this' I smiled and kissed him again. 

Hearing giggling and little chattering coming down the stairs, Madison and Justin appeared in the kitchen.  'Hey Sean!' Madison said in a happy tone. 

'Here's a little present, thank me later' Sean said smiling at her as he pulled out an envelope from his suit. He slid it across the island and Madison ripped it open. Justin appeared by my side with a bottle of water. Madison's face went into total shock she nearly started to cry. 'Thank you so much Sean, oh my god Mom you wont believe it I'm going to be in the studio with Shawn Mendes from tomorrow for a whole week, what the heck!' she squealed, I chuckled.

'That's wonderful babe. Now you get everything you wished for.' She ran over to Sean giving him a hug, a huge smile planted on her face. Seeing her smile after loosing her best friend was heart warming. Seeing her smile again made me want to cry. 

All I need now is my one and only son to be here. There has always been that missing piece of our family since Ryder left with Robert. I'll get him back, it's just taking time. And I won't be telling Madison, I want it to be a surprise.
