Chapter 37

Justin's POV

Working hard was all I wanted to do, but when you are in a relationship and trying to work, its hard. My hours are long and I don't want Madison getting lonely. I want to spend as much time with her as I can because soon she will be busy enough with the studio, and college and I'll just be busy arresting assholes and shooting idiots.

I got a few hours off tonight before another long shift and Madison had also finished up in the studio. When I arrived to her house she was in the shower trying to awaken herself from a long day. I was greeted by her mom at the door and she let me in. Her and Sean were going out for there regular date night. Once a week they would take the night off work and go enjoy there relationship. I wish Madison and I could do that.

Madison came down the stairs beaming, her eyes lit up when she seen me sitting at the island. Her smile met her eyes which made me happy. Having her happy made me happy, all I ever wanted was to make her happy.

'You actually got time off work.' she said winking, giggling to herself. 'Only for you.'

We went up stairs ad headed to her room. I wanted to cuddle with her before my shift, being away from her was hard enough.

We got under the covers and Madison rested her head on my chest. 'I miss you Justin' she said in a low tone. Her voice cracked and it broke me. 'I know baby but it'll be worth it once I have the money' I said kissing her forehead. She nodded understanding where I was coming from.

'I miss you more than you miss me.' I whispered into her ear. Her brown eyes looked up at me and met mine.

Her smile met her bright eyes as she snuggled back into my chest. I turned on her large flat screen TV as we both lay under the covers. 'Can we watch vampire diaries?' Madison suggested. I flicked through the channels to try find The Vampire Diaries but I couldn't find any. 'Why don't we go to the store, get some food and junk food then come back and watch movies?' I smiled at her nodding.

We went downstairs and put on our shoes making our way to my car. Jumping into my car I drove straight to the 24 hour store.

'Some birthday cake M&M's would be nice right now'  I said as I pulled into the car park, parking the car in front of the store we walked into the dead end store looking through the aisles for junk food to munch on.

Madison came around to me with her arms full of food, she dumped her food into the trolley cart I was pushing. I chuckled at her as she ran off again towards the freezers to get some ice cream.  That was my girl.

Madison's POV

I ran towards the fridges to get some mint ice cream, Justin was picking out some Chips and M&M's. Searching for a small tub of Ice cream, I turned to the side to see a familiar figure also searching through the ice cream section. The guy turned to look at me and my breath hitched in my throat.

'Jack.' Was all I could say.

'Madison, hey.' He said. 'What are you doing here?' I asked, I know it was stupid but I had to ask. 

He cleared his throat. 'I'm here to get Andrea some ice cream. We just found out she's pregnant.' He stretched the back of his neck. And speechless as I was, I couldn't find the words to say to him.

'Well ..uh, congratulations dad-to-be!' I said trying not to seem awkward.  'Yeah, thanks.' He didn't seem too happy.  'How long is she?' I asked looking through the fridge. I picked up a container of mint triple chocolate ice cream.

'10 weeks.' He nodded.

I forced a smile. 'How have you been since you got out of hospital?' He asked.  'Good, I'm getting there.' I sighed. I was happy he was moving on but with my best friends ex? I don't think I should be happy.

'Madison?' I heard a faint voice call, I turned around to see Justin walking towards me. He wrapped his arm around my waist. 'Justin.' Jack said with a straight face. Justin just nodded at Jack. 'Well it was nice to see you Madison, I'll see you at the graduation.' Jack said before grabbing an ice cream and leaving.

'We should pay for this' I said pushing the cart towards the check out. The tension between me and Justin grew thick in the air. He was annoyed because I was talking to Jack, how pathetic.

I paid for the food and put it all in bags. Justin was quiet while we walked out to the car. I put the bags into the trunk and decided I didn't want to go home. 'I am going for a walk.' I blurted out. Justin's eyes grew shaking his head.

'No, no way. Get into the car.' Rolling my eyes I opened the door and slammed it when I was sitting in the the passenger seat in annoyance I just wanted to clear my head about what Jack told me.

Justin got into the car and roared it to life. I leaned my head against the tinted window as we drove along the dark streets.

The tension rose as we got close to the house, I ignored Justin when all he wanted was to know why I was talking to Jack. I know I shouldn't but I didn't want to talk right now.

'Please talk to me baby.' he pleaded. I shrugged my shoulders.  'Just leave it Justin, I don't want to talk about it.' I snapped at him.

We pulled into the drive way and I just jumped out of the car, I shoved the key into door and ran upstairs. Tears running down my cheeks like a waterfall.  'Madison wait please!' I heard Justin calling after me.

I slammed the door behind me and jumped onto my bed huddling into my pillow.  There was a knock on the door and I just turned my back on it. 'Baby please can I come in?' He said softly.  'Please, just leave me alone Justin.' I said not sure if he heard me.

'I know your still fragile but baby please talk to me, I love you and I just want to help.'
