Chapter 25

Everything was a whirl after the funeral.  I looked around for her, she was suppose to be here too, but where was she?  I walked up to Sean in the kitchen who was pouring punch into a glass, 'Hey Madi' I smiled at him. 'Where is she?'

'She hasn't returned our calls. She didn't turn up.' 

'Where could she be, first Jack and now her?' 

'She never really cared for him Madi, she just used him.' I gritted my teeth together, I hated her.

I was annoyed at Andrea and Jack right now so I took some time out in the back yard. I walked to the end where there was a little swing seat, it was where Andrew and I would sit and talk for hours on end. It made me smile at the memories. 

I sat down on the swing and pushed myself a little, I watched as people chatted away and I seen Sean walk around talking to people shaking there hands. It started to get dark and I stared up at the sky, watching the stars flicker. 'Beautiful isn't it' I heard that familiar voice. I looked down to see Jack standing there. 'Where were you Jack?' I mumbled, he looked down at his shoes, he was dressed in a tux, his hair was a mess.  'I was busy with stuff' 

'So busy you couldn't answer your own girlfriends calls? or texts? So busy doing the tour?' I couldn't look him in the eye. My eye watered up but I couldn't look at him.

'I'm sorry Madi, I'm here now..' I snapped my head at him. 'I really needed you, and you let me down.'

I got up and pushed past him, I walked up the stairs.  'Madison!' I heard Justin run after me. I walked into my room and into my bathroom, I locked the door after me and dropped to the floor. The tears slipped down my cheeks like a waterfall. I walked over to my draws and pulled out something I haven't used in a while. It had dry blood on it and I ran it under the hot water. 'Madison!' Justin shouted thought the door. I looked in the mirror as the tears rolled down my cheeks.

''One cut here... one cut there... no one will see... no one will care...'' I whispered as it cut into my skin. I gritted my teeth as I felt the blood pour out. 'Madison!' Justin banged on the door. I blocked out the noise by humming a song by Hollywood Undead. 

I was in a ball on the bathroom floor, cut after cut that took away my pain, tear after tear, mistake after mistake, fear after fear, memory after memory. There was a puddle of blood on the floor, I became drained, the noises in my head screamed louder. 

I became really weak, ended up dropping the blade onto the floor. I shut up eyes and lots of dots appeared. 'Madi please open the door!' I heard Justin yell, within the minutes that passed, the floor kicked open, Paramedics were rushed in. 'Whats her name?' 

'Madison' my mom said.

'Okay, Madison can you hear me darling? Can you open your eyes for me sweetheart?' A female paramedic titled my head and played with my eyelids. My eyes started rolling back words. 'Please save her' Justin said. That was the last thing I could remember before everything went dark. 

Justin's Pov

All that ran through my mind is that she couldn't leave me, not now, not ever. 

I knew about her cutting because her mom told me she used to do after her dad left, and she asked me to watch her but when I seen Madi run up to her room I had a sick feeling, when I ran after her the bathroom door was locked, I could hear her humming one of her deep songs and I needed to do something. I phoned for an ambulance as I still yelled out her name, I banged on the door.  I phoned Tracie and told her what Madi was doing and she was up the stairs in no time.

'How long has she been in there?' 

'15 minutes max'

'Okay how long has it been since you rang the ambulance' 

'10 minutes, I rang as soon and I could hear her singing that song she loves, whats it called?'

'Bullet by Hollywood undead'

'Yeah, she hissed so I knew she done something' 

'Okay thank you Justin' 

Tracie ran downstairs as the doorbell rang, and seconds later paramedics rushed up, one ended kicking the door open. 

'Please save her'  I cried.
