I'm an on again off again reader of phanfiction and have been since I joined the phandom like two and half years ago (I think, don't hold me to that! I'm bad at time and stuff ). I like reading them mostly at night when it's dark in my room because it makes me focus better and just helps me connect to the story.
I get alot of my ideas from songs and that's why I have a lot of songfics in store for you angel beans! Don't get me wrong not all of the ideas I get from songs turn into songfics I won't drive you guys crazy.
Other people's work gives me so much inspiration and motivation to write so I thought I'd mention some of them. The list isnt in any kind of order and sadly I left so many important people out

Awhile back I started writing a phanfiction but ended leaving it for awhile and eventually took it down. BUT then I started rewriting it, added knew chapters, and changed weird details that didn't add up. I didn't finish that either. It's still sitting in my drafts, fourteen chapters long, and untouched since February. A whole book and a whole lot of time wasted.
But I got this idea to write a short story and I loved it! I published it but no one really reads it. I took the same story and put a Dan and Phil spin on it. But no one has really read that either. BUT THATS NOT WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY! I'm saying that I really enjoyed making the d&p version of it.
I was thinking about how much I enjoyed doing going it, sooo four months later I decide to start writing more short story/one shot phanfictions.
I enjoy writing oneshots (or as I call them, drabbles for my book) much more because each story is its own and doesn't have to follow a plot. I'm not saying stories that follow a plot are bad I'm just not good at following it when I'm writing.
