Tyler had just finished making himself a simple dinner of ramen noodles for a night in on a rainy day when he heard a knock on the door. The knock was frantic. Tyler hesitated on answering it, he didn't want any company right now but who in the world could be out there? Tyler went to the door and slowly unlocked it and opened it. What he found was a soaking wet man. The man had red curly hair with the sides of his hair short and black. The man was around the same height as Tyler but more muscular and wide. The man also had one arm tattooed from wrist to shoulder. He was shivering and Tyler felt sorry for him.

"I-I'm sorry to d-drop in l-like this but my c-car broke down and you were the n-nearest house... it's f-f-freezing out here." Said the man. He shivered as he spoke, causing him to stutter. Tyler knew he needed to take care of this guy.

"Please, come inside, you're freezing out there." Tyler stepped aside to let the wet man inside. Tyler got his new acquaintance some new clothes and a towel to dry off. He also grabbed a blanket. He first handed the towel to the guy. "Dry off. I have some clothes for you."

The man took the towel and dried off the best he could. "Thank you so much. I didn't think anyone would take me in."

Tyler shook his head. "It's not a problem." Tyler handed the man the clothes. "Bathroom is down the hall on your left."

Tyler watched the man go then sighed. He didn't mean to have company but he didn't want to leave him in the rain. Tyler waited for the man to be done changing. His guest came back out and sat down where he was before. Tyler had to admit, now that he could get a good look at the man, he was quite attractive. It was almost intimidating.

Tyler wrapped the blanket around the man. "What's your name?" He asked.

The man smiled at Tyler. He was beautiful. "I'm Josh. You are..?"

Tyler was staring at Josh then blinked quickly. "Tyler. Tyler Joseph. My friends call me Tyjo."

Josh smiled that beautiful smile again and nodded. "Nice to meet you, Tyler."

Tyler was completely star struck. He thought Josh was attractive but that smile took it to a whole different level. "N-nice to meet you too..."

Josh looked around Tyler's home and hugged the blanket tighter around him. He must've liked what he saw because he nodded to himself. Tyler just watched him curiously. Josh looked back to Tyler and tilted his head when he saw Tyler staring. Tyler just blinked and looked away. "Um, do you want some ramen? I made it before you came but it's still warm."

Josh nodded with a smile. "Yeah, sure. That would be great."

Tyler got a new fork for Josh then gave him the fork and the bowl of noodles. "Here. Hopefully it's good."

Josh took the bowl and ate gratefully, just nodding. Tyler restarted his movie because he didn't know what else to do. Tyler stayed far away from Josh on the couch, glancing at the shadowy figure in the corner of the room. Its bright red eyes stared at Josh as he ate. The figure flashed a toothy smile at Tyler that struck fear through him.

When Josh had finished eating, he told Tyler he needed to go home. Tyler let him go and watched him leave, giving him an umbrella to take with him. In the time that Josh was there, Tyler had exchanged numbers with him, learned he was a waiter at a restaurant, and realized he had a massive crush.

A mistake.
