Blurry waltzed up to Tyler's room around two in the morning and watched the fragile boy sleep. He stayed there all night until Tyler woke up in the morning. He didn't move a muscle.
Tyler woke up around 7 and wasn't surprised to see Blurry. "Good morning. How long have you been there?"
Blurry shrugged.
Tyler rolled his eyes and nodded. "Why?"
Blurry shrugged.
"You're real talkative today."
Blurry just rolled his eyes as Tyler got up and walked to the doorway. Tyler stood face to face with Blurry for a second then tilted his head.
"Am I not allowed to leave my room? You're kinda in the way." Tyler gently pushed at Blurry's stomach to get him to move.
Blurry stayed put, solid as stone. "Who was here last night, Tyler?"
Tyler looked confused and tilted his head again. "What do you mean? No one was here. It was just you and me the whole day."
Blurry looked at Tyler skeptically but moved away from Tyler's door and sat on the couch. Tyler walked to the kitchen and grabbed a Poptart to eat. He sat on a bar stool and ate quietly since Blurry didn't speak up. It was eerily quietly in the house.
"I'm going out today, Blurry."
"When are you leaving? When are you coming back? Can I go?"
Tyler sighed and shook his head. "I'd rather if you didn't go. I'm leaving at five tonight. I have no idea when I'll be back."
Blurry frowned at Tyler but nodded. "Fine. No later than nine, okay?"
Tyler nodded back. "Yes, sir." Tyler went back to his room after finishing eating ad stayed there until he had to leave. Blurry didn't speak to him once the whole time. Tyler changed into a floral button up and some black skinny jeans with black vans.
"Alright. I'm heading out, Blurry," Tyler stated as he walked around, grabbing his things before stopping beside Blurry on the couch.
Blurry looked up at Tyler and grimaced. "You're wearing that ?"
Tyler frowned and looked down at himself. "What's wrong with it?"
Blurry shook his head with a huff. "Just go."
Tyler walked out of the house and got in his car, following the directions he had gotten from Josh about how to get to his house. Tyler drove in silence then honked when he pulled into Josh's driveway. The man exited his house seconds after Tyler blared his horn and got in with a bright smile. Tyler just stared at him. He looked more beautiful than last time and it wasn't fair.
Josh looked over at Tyler then smiled even brighter (If that was even possible). "Hey, Ty!"
Tyler shook his head slightly and looked down. "Hello." After a bit of silence, Tyler leaned over and gently placed a kiss on Josh's cheek. He noticed Josh's surprise but pretended it didn't faze him. "Ready to go?"
Josh nodded and put back on his charming smile. He looked out the window as Tyler drove to a secluded section of the forest outside of their town. There was a trail but it was mostly grown over with grass and other brush.
Tyler pulled up to the spot he always did. Josh got out slowly as he looked at the forest. "I didn't know this existed."
Tyler walked to Josh's side and looked at the forest. "Most people don't. That's why I come here. It's beautiful, c'mon." Tyler started to lead Josh down the familiar path. He often glanced at Josh, who was constantly looking around at everything. Josh grabbed Tyler's hand when he got excited.
"Did you see that? Did you see the bird? It was so pretty!" Josh was looking around for the animal he saw and Tyler shook his head.
"No, I didn't see it." Tyler looked down at their intertwined fingers with a smile then looked ahead, Josh lingering a step behind as he looked around.
It had been silent for awhile, the only noise the sound of their steps through the dried leaves and grass. They hadn't separated their hands yet. Tyler bit his lip before breaking the silence. "Josh?"
Josh looked at Tyler, pure happiness written all over his face. "Yes, Ty?"
Tyler watched his feet as they walked. "Do you like me?"
Josh stopped walking and turned Tyler. "Do you mean, like like?"
Tyler kept his eyes on the floor and nodded.
Josh just smiled and nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, Tyler, I do. I really do."
Tyler looked at Josh and smiled widely. "Yeah?"
Josh nodded again. "Yeah."
Tyler hugged onto Josh tightly and Josh held the boy tightly. "I like you too, Josh."
Josh smiled to himself and squeezed Tyler slightly. They stayed like that for awhile before Josh spoke up.
"We should climb a tree."
Tyler furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Josh. "What?"
Josh nodded. "We should climb a tree."
Tyler looked at Josh with confusion before nodding slowly. "Okay..."
Josh found a good tree to climb then made his way up slowly. Tyler climbed the tree with ease then sat on a branch beside Josh. Josh put an arm around Tyler's shoulders and Tyler leaned into his side. They sat, looking out at the forest. Tyler had never seen this angle of the forest before but it was beautiful.
Josh smiled softly. "It's gorgeous, isn't it?"
Tyler didn't notice Josh looking at him as he spoke. Tyler nodded in agreement and looked out at the view before him. "Breathtaking."
Josh nodded back, having a totally different thought in his mind as he looked at Tyler.
Tyler looked over at Josh and smiled softly at him. Josh smiled back then slowly leaned in. Tyler paused for a moment, evaluating the situation, before closing the gap between his and Josh's lips. Tyler kissed Josh softly and felt Josh's lips curl into a smile against his own. They stayed like that for almost a full minute, just gently moving their lips together with Josh's hands at Tyler's hips and Tyler's arms draped over Josh's shoulders. All Tyler could feel was pure bliss. He'd never been kissed like this, never felt like this. It was new but he loved it.
Josh was the one to pull away, resting his forehead against Tyler's. Tyler slowly opened his eyes and smiled at Josh. Josh nudged his nose against Tyler's with a smile. "You're beautiful, Tyler Joseph. Probably the most beautiful man I've ever seen."
Tyler blushed brightly and looked down at the branch beneath them. "It's getting dark," he mumbled.
Josh looked out then nodded. "You're right. We should go."
Tyler looked up at Josh. "Do you maybe... maybe wanna stay the night tonight?"
Josh looked at Tyler then flashed his charming smile. "Yeah, definitely."
Tyler smiled shyly then they made their way down the tree and back to the car. Tyler's smile fell when he remembered Blurry.
What would he do? He hates Josh. Oh god...
