Our Adventure

Laci pov.
"Alright Gallagher show me what you got.", I say looking over at Carl.

He puts joint up to his mouth and blows out cool smokey designs. I chuckle with a big grin on my face.

"Give it I say.", he hands it to me with a smile.

I inhale and lean to kiss Carl. He opens his mouth with his lips attached to mine and I blow the smoke in.

"That was really hot.", he says smirking.

"I thought you'd like that.", I remark.

"Ready for part two?", he asks fiddling with his the bottom of his hoodie.

"Always.", I say standing up.

Time jump
We open the door to the house. Carl stands up from his wheelchair and I help him upstairs. He leads me to his room. We walk in and it looks amazing. Under the loft part of his bed there is a little fort built, white Christmas lights hung, and all the lights off.

"Oh my god, Carl.",I remark in shock.

"You like?.", he asks as we crawl into the fort.

"I love.", I say admiring the inside of the fort that's filled with pillows, blankets, and a laptop with Netflix pulled up. "It's just like when we were little."

He kisses my forehead and we start watching movies. He holds me in his arms. I feel so secure like Carl could protect me from anything in the world. I slowly shut my eyes and drift to sleep. I dream of me and Carl when we were ten. We're running around in the backyard playing with Debs.

Carl pov.
I look down at Laci who is entangled in my arms completely passed out. She has a huge grin on her face. She looks like a little angel. I stay there for a few minutes enjoying the moment. Then I creep out of the fort trying not to wake her up. I hobble down the stairs and make it into my wheelchair. I then notice no one is home. I turn on my phone and see I text from Fiona.
Fi: went to Jimmy's won't be back until tomorrow morning. DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID!!! I mean it! Debs is at a friends house until tonight. Be good

Me: I promise I won't do anything stupid cya tomorrow

I go outside and call Mickey. He'd been helping me set up everything.

M:hello
C:hey
M:did she like the fort?
C:yeah a lot
M:good. Are you ready for me to bring the stuff?
C:yay
M: you better have the fucking money
C: I do calm your tits
M:alright I'll be over in ten

I hang up and make my next call to our favorite pizza place. I order a large pepperoni and cheese pizza and they say it will take an hour and half. I'm not surprised though they're always busy. I then here a truck pull in the driveway. I watch Ian, Mickey, and a bunch of guys get out of the truck.

"You want it in the backyard right?", Mickey asks.

I nod and go in to wake up Laci. Once upstairs I go into the fort and shake her lightly until she's awake. She sits up and looks at me.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry.", she says apologizing for falling asleep.

"No it was all part of my plan.", I say grinning. "Go put on something nice."

"Ok, why?", She asks with a laugh.

"You'll see.", I remark.

Laci pov.
I go to the back of my closet and pull out the outfit I'd been saving for a "special occasion". It's a hot pink skirt with a lace top and denim jacket. I also put on a gold lightning bolt necklace and my white converse. I got over to the bathroom and redo my eye makeup. I smile at my work. Debbie's been trying to teach me winged eyeliner and I've been getting pretty good.
