I woke up to the sound of the other girls in my room laughing, I blinked a couple of times my eyes ajusted to the bright light of the room. Once they knew I was awake they stopped laughing.
"how long have you been listening?" one asked,
"I just woke up" I said
"yeah right you were listening the whole time" another said
"um I wasn't" I said fixing up my hair.
"your such a liar" one said in a high pitched tone,
"of course she's lying, she's a Riddle" one said
I balled my hands into fists you have no idea how many times people had called me that since first year, just because her last name is Riddle she must be a liar. I got out of my bed and got changed into my uniform. I was sick to death with those girls, I left the common room and I thought today was bad enough then I ran into M.M.
"DANY!" she said runnning to me and hugging me tight
oh wizards! I thought to myself.
M.M broke the hug "Dany?" she said
I smiled I really couldn't say anything,
"whatever I'll see you later" M.M said laughing and walking away,
That was too close I thought then out of the corner of my eye I saw Lana. I couldn't really miss her, what with her blue hair and all. I quickly walked over towards her, and grabbed her arm and pulled her aside.
"why didn't you tell me?" I said,
"tell you what" she said
"you know damn well what" I said crossing my arms
"Well if your going to be like that" she said going to leave
"Wait" I said Lana stopped "what does this mean, what am I?" I asked
"Look I'm not sure I just thought you knew" Lana said
"Oh no I did know that's why I'm asking you now" I said
Lana laughed a little and shook her head.
"Sorry, I tend to be sarcastic to much" I said
"at least I can handle a joke" she said
I smiled a little, then went to leave,
"wait did you want to come to breakfast with me and some of my friends" Lana said,
"sure why not" I said
I walked into the Great hall with Lana and her friends - Pansy, Ava, Rowa and Nessa - They all seemed nice I guess I really didn't know them very well. But if I couldn't talk to my old friends then I would have to make new ones.
I was just about to sit down when someone grabbed my arm and pulled me up I was standing face to face with Liam.
"why didn't you meet me last night?" he asked
I didn't say anything
Liam shook me a little "Dany?" he said
I still didn't say anything
"Look Dany I know, I know your secret, I know about Voldemort" he whispered to me
"what?" I hissed at him, "how?"
"I heard him when you were in the bathroom" he said
"oh" I said
"Your name's Dany?" I heard Lana say
