Chapter#39 - Your Back

Lana's P.O.V

We sat in in Dumbledore's office, he looked mad. 

"you do know how dangerous it was what you just did" he said 

we all nodded

"but it was also very brave of you...therefore I am not going to do anything...but don't let anyone catch you doing anything like that ever again" he said 

We all looked up with smiles on our faces.  We all thought we would be getting kicked out of Hogwarts, but thank Merlin we did, because I'm not sure what I would do without Hogwarts. 

"you should go get to class now....also the petrified people have awaken" he said 

My heart did leaps inside my chest, and I couldn't stop smiling. 

"now off you go" he said 

I got up out of the chair and walk as quickly as I could towards the door out of Dumbledore's office.  I ran down the hallways, not many people were about. I ran into the hospital wing, I saw Dany sitting up in her bed, a big smile came over my face.  I caught my breath and then walked over to her. 

"Dany" I said 

she turned and faced me she smiled 

"hey" she said standing up and walking over to me, 

"I've missed you" I said 

"Me too" she said patting me on the head, and then I pulled her into a hug.  She seemed shocked at firsted and then she slowly put her hand around me. 

"don't do that to me ever again" I said 

Dany laughed "yeah I'll try" 

"good" I said

"I don't think I want that to happen to me ever again" Dany mumbled

I broke the hug and looked at her 

"why what happened while you were petrified?" I asked worrried about her. 

"there are somethings you just don't want to know" said a familiar voice...it was Mary 

I smiled "Mary" I said and went to her bedside. 

"hey kid" she smiled and hugged me 

"I've missed you too" I said 

"well at least someone did" she whisptered to me

"did you want to go get some breakfast?" I asked them both. 

"sure" Dany said 

"why not" Mary said getting up out of the bed. 

I smiled weakly something was off bewteen them. 

We walked into the great hall a few people noticed Dany and Mary, they stared as if we were monsters or something.  We sat down at the Slytherin table, I took a plate and put pancakes on it.  The other two just put a piece of bread and a bit of bacon.

"so how were things while we were away?" Mary asked me 

"not too bad" I said which was a complete lie. 

"really?" Mary asked 

"really" I said putting a bit of pancake in my mouth 

"I'm not to sure about that because there are currently three girl glaring at you right now" she said with a small frown. 

"it was nothing" I said  looking at my plate of pancakes and suddenly feeling sick to my stomach. 

"come on Lana you can tell me anything" Dany said
