Chapter# 25 - Three Little Words

M.M and I walked throughout the castle halls they were pitch black, we were still holding hands we laughed and laughed about M.M freezing Marcus and the look on his face. When we came to the big wooden doors of the Great hall, our hands slowly drifted away from each other.  We walked in nobody seem to notice that we even entered the Great hall.  We went and sat at the Slytherin table, I saw Lana's blue hair, and quickly went and sat with her. 

"hey" I said with a smile 
Lana turned towards me "oh hey" Lana said, not really sounding excited to see me 
"something wrong?" I asked 
"oh no, not at all" Lana said, again sounding disappointed 
"okay" I said turning to the plate in front of me,  
"so where were you?" Lana asked 
"nowhere important" I said 
"what happened Dany?" she asked me as if I were her sister 
"nothing" I said 
"really because why are your eyes red, I thought you had contacts" Lana said 
"oh right I forgot, I took them out" I said 
"you took them out but why?" Lana said 
"getting a little nosiy there Lana" I said 
"right" Lana said backing off and going back to her food. 
"so how was your classes today?" I asked 
"alright" Lana said taking a bite of some chicken 
"that's good then" I said with a smile 
"okay I can't do this" Lana said 
"can't do what?" I asked 
"why did you take out your contacts?" she said 
"I don't want to talk about it" I said 
"come on it can't be that bad" Lana said 
"oh really how would you know" I said 
"your asking a girl with blue hair and red eyes this" Lana said with a laugh 
I laughed too and smiled 
"um someone's watching us" Lana said pointing over to someone at the end of our table
I turned to look where Lana was pointing and saw M.M. 
"oh that's just Mary" I said 
"who's she?" Lana asked 
"just a friend" I said, I felt my heart sink when I said that as if it were breaking or something. 
"oh okay" she said 
"what does that mean?" I asked 
Lana half smiled "she's looking at you like your more than a friend, Dany" she said 
"No she's not" I said 
Lana laughed "it's funny that you don't see it" 
"I don't see anything because nothing there" I said 
"then why are you going as red as my eyes" Lana said 
"I am not" I said "now I am done talking about this" 
"yes let's talk about why you ditched one of your classes today" Lana said
"how did you even know about that" I asked
"word spreads fast here" Lana said
"you don't say" I laughed
"well are you gonna tell me" she said
"I think not" I said getting up to leave
"your not staying?" Lana said
"no I have to go, but I'll see you later" I said with a smile
"yea sure" Lana said turning back to one of her friends - Nessa I think. 

I walked out of the Great hall it wasn't lights out for a while so I walked around the castle for a while. I came a stair well and saw Cedric sitting on one of the steps. 

"Hey" I said, 
Cedric looked up at first he was frowning but then it turned into a smile, that made my heart beat a little faster. 
"hey what's up Riddle and why are your eyes red?" he said 
I came up and sat beside him "really if I don't let anyone else call me Riddle you really think I'm going to let you" I said with a laugh ingoring the fact that he asked why my eyes were red. 
"well yea but those people are idiots" Cedric said 
"and your excuse is?" I said 
Cedric playful bump me with his shoulder, that's then I felt how close our faces where, I think Cedric noticed to.  He put his hand to my face and I let him,  I felt my eyes close as he kissed me.  When I broke the kiss we were both smiling. I felt Cedric slide his hand down to mine, I smiled and so did he. 
"Dany?" said a familiar voice, I turned and saw M.M the look on her face was as if I'd something wrong.  Cedric and I looked at each, we were both shocked how long had M.M been standing there?  I turned back to M.M but only to see nothing there only the sound of footsteps going the other direction. 

"what's with her?" Cedric asked 
"I'm not sure, I better go check on her" I said 
"sure, but I will see you later right?" Cedric said 
"yea of course" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek and then getting up and leaving.  

I went back to the Slytherin common room, I looked everywhere for M.M but couldn't find her there.  Then I ran into Lana and her friends
"Hey" she said 
"hey" I said 
"something wrong?" Lana asked 
"have you happened to see Mary?" I said 
"well.." Lana said 
"well what?" I asked 
"she doesn't want to see you at the moment" Lana said 
"But I'm her best friend" I said then I noticed Lana and her friends were standing outside M.M's door.
"come on Lana you have to let me in" I said 
"I'm sorry I wish I could, but I made a promise" Lana said 
"alright" I said turning around to got to my room,  I didn't things could get wrost but they did 
"RIDDLE!" I heard someone yell at me, I turned around with my wand in hand straight away 
"Marcus" I said to myself, 
When I saw Marcus he had his wand in his hand 
"it's time for payback Riddle" he said 
"how many times do I have to tell you people it's Dany, just Dany" I said to him,
"right" he said pointing his wand up to me, and I did the same to him. 
"don't start something you can't finish Marcus" I said 
A crowd of people was starting to form around us, out of the corner of my eye I saw Lana and her friends.  
"Before we start what happened to your eyes RIDDLE" he said 
"they've always been like this" I said 
"oh look they glow when you get mad" he said 
I quickly flicked my wand casting a spell, Marcus fell to the ground 
"letting a little girl like me knock you off your feet" I said some of the crowd laughed. I was about to cast another spell when, Snape came and stood between us. 
"miss Riddle come with me" he said
"oohhhhhh" someone yelled out, 

Once we were out of the Slytherin common room Snape took me to his office 
"what do you think your doing?" he said to me
"I don't know what did it look like to you" I said 
"don't do this Dany" he said
"what's the worst that's going to happen?" I said 
"you will get exspelled from this school" Snape said 
"oh no, like anyone would care everyone here hates me anyways" I said 
"not everyone" Snape said 
"oh yea who? Cause it can't be any of the teachers they all hate me" I said 
"What about Miss Moon" Snape said 
"she's my friend" I said "but she hates me at the moment" 
"because you are always pushing people away" Snape said 
"so what you do it all the time, you don't know" I said 
"actually, I had a friend once she was my best friend then the day came when she fell in love with my enemy" Snape said 
"see nothing turns out right for us" I said 
"don't say us" Snape said 
"yes even right now your pushing me away" I said 
"that's because it's weird" Snape said 
"no it's not, you've been a better father to me than Voldemort" I said 
"don't say things like that here" Snape said "now you better be off" 
I nodded and left Snape's office. 

I was making my way back to the Slytherin common room when I heard something, it sounded like a snake in the wall.  I put my ear to the wall, it was speaking some sort of snake language.  I kept on walking when I came across some water in the hallway. 
"what the?" I said starting to run, then I ran into someone, she was short and had bright red hair.  
"watch it" she said then she kept on walking down the hall.  Something about that wasn't right.  
I kept walking  then I came to a wall, where a cat hung from a metal pole and words were written in blood. I was shocked then I saw Potter, Granger and Ron coming from another hallway. They stopped and stared at it.  Then they saw me, Granger came right up to me
"you did this didn't you" she said 
"no, no I didn't" I said "I haven't had time to read it" 
"sure, sure" said Ron 
"Slytherin" Potter 
"Gryffindor, are we naming houses now" I said 
Then I heard footsteps lots of them, I finally had time to read what was on the wall. 

'The Chamber of secrets had been opened, enemies of the heir...beware'


I backed away from the wall this is what Voldemort meant, this can't be good I thought.
