Chapter#36 - The Door

Lana's P.O.V

On my way back to the Slytherin common room I remembered what Voldemort said Harry would now where the door is. I quickly walked to the Great hall and asked a few people asking if they knew where Harry was.  A lot of them gave me weird looks, and one guy finally told me he had last seen him in the Gryffindor common room, I wasn't so sure of who the guy was but I thanked him and then went running down the hallways to the Gryffindor common room a lot of Gryffindors gave me weird looks as I waited for Harry to come out.  

It seemed like forever.  It grew dark outside and that's when he came with the red head Ron. 

"Lana?" he said 

"do you know how long I have been waiting here!" I said 

"arr...?" Harry managed to say

"where's the door" I snapped at him. 

"what are you going on about?" he said looking at me as if I were crazy. 

"you know what I'm talking about" I said and then lower my voice "he told me you do" 

"Look Lana I think you should go...you don't what your getting yourself into" he said backing away from me. 

"I didn't have a chose did I, I was pulled into this" I hissed at him. 

"okay, okay calm down" he said 

"I can't be calm" I said putting my head against the brick wall of Hogwarts and sighed.  I looked over to Harry he seemed to be calm but his redhead friend not so much.  

"look I don't want to drag you into this" Harry said "your like a little sister to me" 

"yea" I said, feeling like a little kid. 

"Me and Ron are going to find the Chamber...and you have to promise not to follow us" he said 

I took my head off the wall and sighed 

"I'm not very good at keeping promises" I said 

"well your going to have to keep this one" he said walking past me and down the hallway, and Ron followed. 

I smiled  

"we never shook on it, so it's really not a promise is it Potter?" I said to myself, and then I quickly followed trying not to making any noise. 

I followed Potter and his ginger friend to the girl bathroom, the one that no one went to anymore because a girl died in it.  The first thing that came to my mind was is there something that your not telling us Potter

I laughed to myself, and then I noticed that there was that annoying teacher Lockhart...How had I not notcied him before.   Potter and Ron push him into the bathroom....what the hell was going on here this was getting weird...But I still followed, I walked in the bathroom door after them and stay back against the door so they didn't notice me.   I could hear what they were saying something about they knew who he really was and then one of the sinks opened up, was that the door to the chamber.  What the hell came to my mind first , then second well it had to be somewhere and then third what kind of creep puts the door to the chamber of secrets in a girl's bathroom....I mean how strange is that?  Lockhart went first then Harry and Ron, I heard their girly screams as they went down.  

I laughed and then waited until I couldn't hear their voice anymore and then I walked over to the opening in the sink.  Then I noticed something on the tap a Slytherin crest.   I smiled to myself, that was quiet smart of him to do that....Voldemort that is.   I smirked and then jumped down the hole.  

It was a short drop, and then the whole thing turned into a slide, it was fun but I didn't have time for  fun...I needed to find out everything that was going on.  

Suddenly the slide came to a stop and I face planted into the ground, I wasn't sure what I had fallen in until I sat up and saw bones and a huge snake skin.  My heart skipped a beat.  I moved back quickly and sat on the end of the slide.  I breathed deeply in and then out.  

And then that's when I saw Lockhart on the ground, he looked dead.  I walked over to him. 

"oh my wizards" I said and kicked him, he moved and his eyes flashed open and sat up slowly rubbling his head and blinking his eyes.  Then he looked at me. 

"who are you?" he said 

I  was a little shocked 

"how do you not know?" I said 

"who am I?" he said

"what?" I said 

"what?" he said 

"you know what shut it and stay here" I said 

Lockhart looked up at me confused as if the words didn't make sense to him.  I sighed and started to walk away.  I was away from Lockhart and around a corner,  when I heard a noise I turned and saw Lockhart running around the corner I had just turned. 

"what are you doing?" I snapped at him 

"follow?" he said as if it were a question. 

"no! STAY" I hissed at him. 

"stay?" Lockhart said

"yes" I said nodding and then I turned and kept walking, but I heard his footsteps I turned back.  Lockhart was still following me.  I sighed and walked back to him and grabbed his shirt and pushed him up against the hall.  

"I said stay NOT FOLLOW!" I snapped at him, and it ecchoed down the halls, I let go of Lockhart and he fell to the ground, I think he flanted.  It was better that way.  I walked down the halls a bit watching waiting, I knew Voldemort was for sure to pop up sometime now, but nothing happened.  I continued to walk until I came upon a door, it had snakes on it...they weren't real, but it was still weird.  I walked closer to it. 

"I was wondering when you were going to get here" said a familiar voice 

I turned "I was wondering when you were going to show up....Tom" I said
