Mary's P.O.V
It was late afternoon Zayn and I hadn't been to a class all day we just sat on the shore of the black lake, talking, kissing, pretty much anything to get my mind off Dany. But no matter what I did all I could think about was her, and me. I played with the sand in my hand.
"everything okay?" Zayn asked me
"yea...yea" I said
"really?" Zayn said
I got up out of the sand and dusted myself off
"I can't...I can't do this" I said
"why not" He said grabbing my hand, "I thought you liked me too?"
"I don't...know...I just can't" I said pulling my hand out of his and running off back to Hogwarts.
I got to the courtyard and I saw my uncle was there waiting for me, or I should probably call him Dumbledore now that were back at school.
"Mary" he said putting his hand on my shoulder
"yea" I said
"you missed all you classes today" he said
"I know" I said looking at the ground
"something seems to be bothering you what is my dear" he said
"I don't think you'll approve of it" I said
"Mary you can tell me anything" Dumbledore said
"No really I can't" I said starting to panic, I walked faster and faster down the hall of Hogwarts. I didn't want to talk to him right now, I did't want to talk to anyone. Tears started to fall from my eyes, it wasn't far, nothing was fair not ever since that I found out about myself.
I walked into the Slytherin common room and ran into Lana, she dropped some books so I helped her pick them back up.
"sorry about that" I said wiping away my tears.
"oh it's fine" Lana said quickly and walked away from me. I thought that was weird, I then walked away after a few seconds into my room, and my heart dropped. I felt like I was going to be sick. The letters F.A.G were written all over the room. I started to shake my eyes couldn't help themselves and tears broke away. I shut the door quietly and ran out of the common room. I ran to the girls bathroom, but I went to one that nobody ever went to and locked myself in one of the toilets. I cried softly to myself wanting all of this to go away wanting more than ever to not be the way I am. I was just about to unlock the toilet door when I heard voices, I stood up on the toilet so they didn't think anyone was in here. It turned out to be three voices I knew, Potter, Granger and Weasley. They kept on going on about the chamber of secrets and who was going to open it and then they left, what a weird talk to have in the middle of a girl's bathroom in the middle of the day. I opened the door and left the bathroom, I didn't know where I was going to go but I knew I couldn't stay here and I couldn't go back to my room in the Slytherin common room.
Lana's P.O.V
I walked out of the Slytherin common room feeling like the most meanest person in the whole world, I didn't want to hurt Mary. She was one of the only ones that was always nice to me and that I had went and done written that world all around her room, but I had no chose, Cedric said to do it and I sort of, kinda a lot like him. But it was wrong to do that, I started to cry when I ran into of all people Mary.
"hey" I said
Mary just looked at me as if she hated me, it looked like she had been crying
"what do you want?" she said in a sharp tone
"sorry" I said walking faster down the hall to the great hall to study for a bit. I felt so bad I hated myself right now and this was all beacuse I wanted to fit in, I already stand out bad enough.
I walked into the great hall and ran into someone, I fell to the ground why was I running into everyone today.
"sorry" I said picking up my books
"no my fault" said the guy helping me pick up the last of my books, that's when I noticed it was Cedric. I felt my cheeks go red.
"It's Lana right" he said
"yea" I said with a smile, my heart was beating fast but my mind was telling me no! This was Dany's boyfriend and she is my sister.
"so people are telling me you and Dany are sisters" Cedric said
"we are...sort of" I said
"okay...so what's with the eyes?" Cedric asked
"Our father is a Vampire" I said
"oh.." Cedric in shock a little
"and my mother is mermaid, that's where I get the blue hair from" I said
"okay...what about Dany then who's her mother?" Cedric asked
"It's for Dany to tell you not me" I said
"that bad is it?" Cedric said
"that's your girlfriend you talking about, and my sister" I said
"you won't tell her" Cedric said putting his hand on my shoulder
"Maybe I will maybe I won't" I said
Cedric just laughed and playfully pushed me
"see you later Riddle" he said
I sighed " it's not Riddle" I said
"your Dany's sister therfore your a Riddle to me" he said and then he was gone.
I sat down at the Slytherin table and opened up one of my books,
"want to tell me what that was all about?" said a voice from beside me, I jumped and turned to see who it was. Mary's bright green eyes where staring right back at me.
"Mary" I said turing back to my book
"well?" she said
"we were just talking" I said
"yea right nobody is ever just talking" Mary said
"well we were" I said
"don't you tell me that unicorn crap!" Mary said sitting down beside me "you know if Dany was awake and if she saw that you would be in so much trouble with her"
"I know" I said biting down on my lip.
"you know you and Dany do the same thing when your in trouble, you guys bit down on your lip" Mary said with a laugh, but then her face faded back into a frown. She had been doing that a lot.
"I didn't know that" I said
"well yea now you know" Mary said, something was troubling her and I think I knew what.
"I'm sorry" I said looking her in the eye
"I know you are" Mary said
"what?" I said, confused
"I knew it was you" Mary said
"how? Might I ask" I said
"I went back into the room and found a blue hair, not hard to find out after that" she said
"Oh" I said
"look don't worry about it" Mary said
"NO, don't say that I am really, really sorry" I said
"Lana I know your a good kid that all I need to know" Mary said
"Mary" I said with tears starting to form in my eyes " I want you to know that I don't care that you like how you are, I'm just happy that you forgave me and that I know that Dany will soon see that she's being stupid and that she loves you too"
Mary got up from the table, "thanks for that, and I hope she sees that I love her with all my heart" Mary said starting to cry, "I'm going to go see her now...so I'll see you later"
"for sure" I said with a sad smile, and then Mary was gone and I was on my own, I didn't like it I wanted my family back, Dany and Mary they where my family, I quickly ran out of the Great hall and down towards the hospital wing, I was hoping to catch up with Mary and I did. but she was on the ground frozen just like Dany. I fell to my knees in front of her.
"Mary" I said "please wake up please"
"don't worry child she will be fine" said a voice, I turned to where the voice came from, a young mand stepped out of the shadows.
"what do you want" I said
"you sound a lot like your sister you know" he said
"Voldemort" I said
"good girl" he said with an evil smile "now do you want to live or died miss Una? Because if you want to live you better come with me" and then he stepped back into the shadows of the castle and I followed him, because I was not going to die today, not today.
