(stealing - ty dolla $ign)
Crystal clear glass clinking, small talks and a fancy dress code. Champagne, when they both wanted vodka.
Elizabeth felt lost, like she didn't belong. Truthfully, a common thing for her, but she knew, that she had to do it. Not only did she for once listen with a bit of respect to what Brad was telling her, but she wanted money.
"Get as much as you can, we'll see how much we get in the end." His voice was clear.
She looked around. Her heart was almost aching. A feeling of sadness and nostalgia embraced her body tightly. Something about the gathering of people, reminded her of something she couldn't figure out what was.
Diamond earrings. Brad was talking to a girl with expensive jewelry. Elizabeth watched his movements. A smirk crept upon his lips, his eyes staring into hers. He grabbed her waist, and that was exactly what he had told Elizabeth to do. Grab their wallets, or really anything in their pockets.
"Can I help you with something?" A guy with white shirt along with a tux. She stared at it, thinking about what he possibly could be having in his pockets. It looked expensive.
Elizabeth's eyes travelled up and met his eyes. Small talks, and him giving her flirty eyes. She didn't fit in - with her shabby old jacket and worn out sneakers. Her hair still like a mess, but the guy didn't think about that.
He handed her a glass of bubbly pink liquid, that Elizabeth didn't know - and didn't care about what was. It smelled like alcohol. She drank some, eagerly wanting some kind of burn down her throat, but it wasn't really enough.
Her blue eyes glued on his jacket, wondering how she would take his property. He started talking to her, but she didn't listen. Suddenly Elizabeth kissed him. Not one of the things, Brad had told her to do, but otherwise she couldn't. Brad found stealing easy. He was already on his third.
The guy responded the kiss, and grabbed her body. She didn't like it, but it was fine. She needed money, that was what she was repeating inside her head. Her hand slipped down in his pocket, taking almost everything out, sticking it down her own.
"Excuse me." She mumbled, walking away from him. No eye contact, no emotion. Completely opposite from Brad. He was flirty, touchy with intense eyes, something Elizabeth didn't get. There were never gonna see them again. But Brad liked it. He like the attention he got by the different women. He wanted them to like him, so he could just go away and leave them.
According to him, they didn't even deserve the attention he gave them. He saw the people around him, almost in the same way as Elizabeth did. The richest was selfish.
Then he could ask himself, whether or not the two of them were. Stealing was selfish, but it was only now he thought about it. Not that he was gonna change anything at that point, they deserved it, was all he thought.
Make out with a different woman in front of them, and the leaving again. He wore a constant smirk.
Brad enjoyed stealing from them.
