Line after line. Pill after pill. Constantly feeling numb. It was getting regular. They were drowning away their pain.

It seemed like he was in his right element. Or so he felt like. Brad was fine with the situation he was in. He felt like it was the right way of living life. At least it felt like it in that moment.

Elizabeth was in the shower. Brad was drying his hair with a towel. This bathroom was smaller. Way smaller than the other one. There was just barely enough space for a toilet, sink and shower.

Brad leaned against the sink, closing his eyes. His head felt dizzy, and body drained from power. Everything at that point was exhausting.

They couldn't really sleep. They were up to 3 every night, walking up at 7. Sometimes they slept in their houses, sometimes they slept outside, sometimes another random place. The alcohol helped though. They occasionally passed out into sleep when they were extremely drunk.

Brad's eyes rested on the showercurtain. Elizabeth's naked silhouette was visible through the thin fabric.

He had his eyes on her, as he brushed back his hair. Her body was moving in slowmotion through his eyes. Brad parted his lips, and his breathing was slow as well.

She turned off the water, and Brad stared at the ground. Her hand reached for the towel. Then she walked out. The sun was about to go up.

Brad glanced at her. Her hair was wet, so was her neck, shoulders, collarbone. Elizabeth caught his eye.

Her eyes scanned his naked torso. His hair was damp, his eyes was tired. The way he was just leaning against the sink. He then looked away. Brad took on his shirt. It felt cold. Compared to the room that felt steamy and warm.

She looked away as well. "Elizabeth, we should probably go before they notice." He stated, while looking away, so she could get dressed. He put on his wollen hat, while she bottoned her jeans.

"Yeah," she simply answered. "We should."
