(drowsy - bane's world)

Night fell upon the city. Something about the late night thought process of people's mind, was vulnerable. A side that was hidden. Every person had a secret. Every person had something they wanted to keep to themselves.

Just like those two. Different reasons though.

Silhouettes with unclear minds. Streetlights flickering down at the people with the 2 am thoughts. Always a difference between the personality when the sun was exposing them and when the moon was lighting up the dark sky full of stars.

Elizabeth saw herself as a star. Another one, couldn't see the difference. But when you looked closer, you would notice she was different.

Elizabeth would always have this prejudice of every single person she saw. Maybe because the only few she knew, was letting her down. Every time a rejection. She didn't know one person, who actually cared.

She doesn't remember anything from her childhood, only the days that are similar to every one of the ones she lives in now. She lost her belief.

Though one thing fills up her thoughts. She believed in aura. That the color around you defined you, and it was the only source to truthness. She didn't believe in her religion, or had trust in her state of being and herself.

She knew that her aura was a clouded red. Negative energy. Dark blue. Couldn't face the truth and didn't trust the future. She wanted to take control but she couldn't. Dark green. Refused to take responsibility. Jealous.

Dark. Trust nobody. Afraid. Pain. Constantly. She was scared, deep, deep down. So deep she almost didn't know herself.

Brad's aura on the other hand was little brighter. She didn't know how he did it.
Of course she didn't see the colors, but somehow she knew. She always did. It was something in his eyes. They were glistening, compared to his lack of caring, and what he looked like. Elizabeth was starting to sense he was homeless too. But Brad knew that fact about her as well.

Lighter nuances. Yet again jealous of him. Brad wasn't hopeless. If Brad said it himself, he had big plans. At that point, he was gonna earn money. He couldn't get a job, not that he tried, but he didn't want one either.

Brad knew his destination, he was just not there. Elizabeth was not thinking the way that he was. They were completely different, then again a lot alike.

Different from the population, different from the other homeless.

Brad was religious. Very religious. God was only here to help him, and it was his only source in believing in himself. Reason to live.

But his life was about to change. He would sin, he would regret, but his belief held his head up high. If he knew what would happen, he may not have spoken to that empty girl sitting on the bench. If he knew what would happen to his personality and mainly to her, he wouldn't have considered.

Though a part of him was happy for the change. God would be disappointed, but if he seeked forgiveness for his sins, God would help him. If only he had belief.
