Alohamora || Fred Weasley

III • THREE

As November passed, the snow started falling and it meant that Christmas was drawing near. Remus had answered Charlottes letter and he forgave her for not writing to him and granted her permission to stay at Hogwarts for the holidays.

Charlotte was yet to tell the twins about this. She just decided to not tell them and surprise them later.

Soon enough the day when all those who weren't staying for the Holidays were boarding the carriages to take them to Hogsmeade so they could get the train back to London.

Charlotte was In her dormitory helping Isla pack as she was returning home because she had family coming over from America. Her cousins were coming over the Fishers. Once the two had finished packing Charlotte took down Isla's cat Zelda while she trailed behind with her trunk.

"Bye Isla, I'm gonna miss you! I'm going to be alone in the common room for 3 weeks. I will have no Angelina and Alicia to wake me up and no Kathleen to yell at us telling us to shut up at 11 at night. Anyway I hope you have fun with Harriet ." Charlotte said while engulfing the girl in a hug.

"Eh you will be fine, Lottie. Besides if you get lonely you can always go and sleep with Fred and George! Well especially Fred." Isla giggled. While Charlotte's eyes widened.

"Especially Fred!? What's that supposed to mean?"

"Well Charlotte my dear friend, it means that I know you like like Fred Weasley."

"Fred, I don't like like Fred. I mean I like Fred but as a friend nothing more."

"Right, okay Charlotte! That's definitely true"

"What it is!" Bellowed Charlotte. I mean Isla was being stupid. Charlotte couldn't possibly like Fred Weasley like that. I mean she thought he was cute but that didn't mean she liked him did it?

"Okay Lottie, anyway I'm going now before you make me miss the train. See you after Christmas." Isla said before giving Charlotte one last hug before she walked out the castle along with the mass of students.

Once Isla had left Charlotte walked into the great hall to find the twins who were playing exploding snap.She went and sat down next to George.

"Charlotte why aren't you changed in your robes aren't you going back home?" George asked looking at her in her muggle clothes of woolly tights, a black skirt and knitted pink jumper.

"Nope, I'm staying here! Lucky you two." She said but she was soon pulled into a huge hug by the two Weasley's. George let go a second or two before Fred. Just went Charlotte started to pale.

"Anyway, deal me up bet I could beat both of you at this." The three were playing exploding snap for a good few hours and every game Charlotte had won.

The next day Charlotte got woken up by an Owl tapping on her window. She had gotten a letter from Remus along with a package which she presumed was her Christmas present.

Dear Charlotte,

I hope you are enjoying yourself this year and enjoy your holidays with the Weasley's and Harry. I have also got you your Christmas present. I know it's not much but hope you enjoy it.

After reading the letter Charlotte placed the package down on the bed next to hers, which happened to be Alicia's. She looked out the window and saw that it was snowing and snowing heavily. She quickly wrote a reply to Remus thanking him for the gift and she then attached his present to the envelope and handed to Ludwig her owl and he was off.
