Prolouge

Charlotte Black was the daughter of Sirius Black, the young girl never knew her mother. However when he was taken to Azkaban she was placed in the care of Remus Lupin.

Remus did his best to look after his best friends child as he felt it was his job and that he owed it to the two late Potters and Sirius as they all helped him when he needed it most. Plus he also knew that Sirius would kill him if he didn't.

Charlotte didn't mind growing up in the Lupin household in fact she enjoyed it very much, she enjoyed hearing the stories of what her parent and godparents got up to in their years at Hogwarts it made her look forward to attending there later on in the year.

On her 11th Birthday her Hogwarts letter arrived just as she had anticipated. The young girl jumped around with glee at the thought of finally being able to attend Hogwarts. At this point Remus thought it was fit to take the young girl to Diagon Alley to collect her school stuff.

Remus and Charlotte both arrived at Diagon Alley by using the floo network and the two wasted no time what so ever in going to Gringotts and getting some money out of both of their vaults. After Charlotte stuffed her purse with as many Galleons, sickles and knuts she possibly could she climbed back into the cart that would take them back up to the entrance.

Charlotte and Remus had soon got everything on the list. Remus told the young girl to stay in Diagon alley while he apparated back to the house to put their many bags down. While Remus was away Charlotte decided to visit Gambol and Japes Wizarding Joke Shop.She was looking around the shop and soon enough she bumped into someone.

"Oh...erm....sorry " She said looking up to the two red-headed boys standing in front of her

"That's okay, anyway I'm George Weasley and this is Fred Weasley" said one of the boys

"First year Hogwarts students and practical jokers" said the other boy Fred

"Oh Hi, I'm Charlotte, Charlotte Black! First year Hogwarts student and practical joker" Charlotte copied the two boys

"No way...."

"Your Charlotte Black...."

"Do you really have the scar?" The twins asked finishing off each other's sentences.

"Oh yeah I do" replied Charlotte pushing up her jumper to reveal a lightning shaped scar on her wrist. Both She and Harry had a scar from that night and she knew that both Harry and herself were famous for that night, two infants defeating the dark lord.

"Wicked" Both of the twins said.

"Ahh Charlotte there you are, trust you be in here" Remus said from behind the young girl. "I see you have met the Weasley twins! Are you ready to go?" The werewolf asked.

"Yeah I'm good! Bye Fred, Bye George see you in a week at Hogwarts" she said and she walked off and she heard the two twins shout bye behind her.

After meeting the twins it made Charlotte that more excited to Hogwarts. She couldn't wait she was counting down the days till she could board the Scarlet train.

The 2 weeks had passed and the 1st of September had rolled around. The night before Charlotte couldn't sleep. So when Remus had called her down at 9 AM she was already showered and dressed ready to board the train.

At 10:50 the pair were on platform 9 and 3/4. Having arrived there 2 minutes prior by apparition.

"Goodbye Charlotte, have a great time and don't get into to much trouble!" Remus said while hugging the girl. He couldn't believe that she was starting Hogwarts, he still remembers the day Dumbledore had asked him to look after her, it had felt like only days. However he wished that Sirius could be here to witness his child going to Hogwarts, however he was Azkaban, and Remus hoped that Charlotte wouldn't turn out like her father.
