XXX • THIRTY

Ever since that night when Sirius Black broke into the castle life at Hogwarts for Charlotte and her friends had been very quiet and uneventful.

The group had been studying for their O.W.L.S. This meant many late nights and early mornings. Many of the teens were finding it difficult to try and balance everything however they only had a few weeks left.

On the morning of the Charms exam, Charlotte got up, showered, got dressed and had breakfast just like she did any other morning. After breakfast and the after the Great hall had been set up for exams the nervous fifth years assembled in the hall.

Charlotte was sitting right next to the window so ah was able to look out and see when she needed a second to calm down. The hall soon went silent and the exam began. Charlotte was doing okay until she looked up to look out the window because she forgot the answer to number four and she was trying to remember, but she saw a little black dog walking round outside. She looked closer and could have sworn that it was Sirius.

The girl tried to take her mind of it and finish her exam but she was struggling because she was worrying about her father. Soon enough the two hours allocated for the exam were over and the children were allowed to leave. As she was walking out Charlotte got far to overwhelmed and she fainted. The young girl was taken up to the infirmary by the twins and Isla.

A few hours later Charlotte awoke in the infirmary. Ron Weasley was lying in the bed next to her and Harry and Hermione were standing around next to him.

"Why are you guys here?" Charlotte asked.

"Charlotte, Sirius is innocent. But the dementors are going to give him the kiss." Hermione replied

"I knew this all along, but we have to save him." Charlotte replied as Dumbledore burst into the room.Dumbledore was going on about how innocent lives could be saved. He then left.

Hermione pulled out a necklace and wrapped it round her and Harry.

"Charlotte, are you coming? Sorry Ron seeing as you can't walk." The young girl said.

Charlotte got up and walked to the two. The three then traveled back in time. Hermione glanced up at the clock.

"7:30, where were we at 7:30 Harry?"

"I dunno going to Hagrids." The boy replied remarkably confused about what just happened.

Hermione then spent the next 5 minutes explaining the rules of time travel to Harry and Charlotte.

The group soon catches up and sees where they were at 7:30. The golden trio were on there way to Hagrids like Harry said. Charlotte got to witness Hermione punch Draco Malfoy and quite frankly it was amazing.

The group next set out to rescue Buckbeak. Charlotte was a tad bit useless in this situation because she was in shock, she was worried and she was confused.

A few hours had passed and they had successfully rescued Buckbeak, got away from a werewolf and the were so n there way to help Sirius. Soon Dementors cane and started sucking the soul out of Sirius. Charlotte stood there in shock. Her father was dying and she couldn't think of anything to help him.

Soon Harry got out and screamed 'Expecto Patronum' and he produced one of the most powerful patronoses ever. The dementors disappeared and someone cane down and collected the two.

The trio soon got on Buckbeak and flew up to the tower where Sirius was being kept. Hermione used the Bombarda spell and the door broke open and Charlotte ran inside and hugged her father.

"Dad, I'm so glad your okay." She said to him crying.

"I knew I would be, I never doubted it." He said kissing her forehead.

The four then got in Buckbeak and went down to the courtyard. They said their goodbyes and Sirius flew away. Charlotte and Harry were both devastated but we're okay because they saved an innocent man from a terrible fate.

They ran back to the infirmary and Ron was very confused. Hermione and Harry stayed to explain it to him while Charlotte went back to the common room to tell George and Fred what had happened.

It took 3 months but I got a chapter out, I'm so sorry it's so bad but I was rushing and hopefully the next one will be better.
