"You won't get away with this Heartbreak! You can't affair with everyone's love life any longer!" I yelled at Hawk Moth's latest supervillain. She'd been going around and zapping couples making them hate each other within seconds. Apparently this girl got stood up on her date. I do sympathize with her. I mean, if Adrien ever stood me up I'd...Come back to reality Marinette that would never ever happen. Adrien doesn't even know you exist.

"Ladybug I need you to focus!" Cat Noir snapped at me. He never usually does that but I guess Heartbreak's bad attitude was influencing everyone. And I must admit I did need to focus.

"Sorry." I dodged out of the way before Heartbreak could zap me with her flower. "The Akuma is in her rose!" I shouted and Cat Noir nodded telling me he understood. I decided I would keep her distracted until Cat could steal the rose from her.

"So who was the guy?" I asked the girl covered in a dress made of broken pieces of broken hearts. She looked shocked by my question and sudden conversation. Cat looked at me like I was crazy but I knew what I was doing. Heartbreak was a girl after all and girls like to explain their feelings and cry about what's upsetting them.

"He...he was the most popular guy at my school." Heartbreak stopped floating and her feet hit the solid ground. "I asked him to meet me here in the park at three but it's been four hours and he never came. I always admired him from far away and hoped that one day he would notice me but he never did. So I took the first step and went to him. Now I'm all broken!" She cried and I felt like a knife went through my heart. I knew how much she liked this guy but in all honestly who would wait four hours for someone, unless they were crazy?

"I can relate." I took a step towards the girl. "The guy I like doesn't know I exist either." I noticed Cat Noir flinch at my words. What was he so hurt about? He was just a flirt anyways nothing he ever said meant anything.

"Really?" Heartbreak stopped crying and looked at me.

"Yep." I placed a hand on her back. "A lot of people know how that feels already so you going around and forcing couples to split up is pointless. Why would you want anyone else to feel like you? That's a beautiful flower by the way can I see it?" I held out my hand. Cat gave me a look saying 'this is way too easy' but she gave me the rose anyways.

I broke the flower and the Akuma flew out. "No more evil doing for you little Akuma." I slid my fingers over my yo-yo and it opened. "Time to de-evilize." I swung the yo-yo to capture the butterfly. "Gotcha!"

"Bye bye little butterfly." I waved to it as it flew away and looked back to the girl who wasn't crying anymore.

"Think you'll be okay?" My earrings beeped signaling that I was going to change back soon.

"Yeah, thanks Ladybug." She smiled at me and I dashed away. I only had seconds before I would change back to Marinette.

"Ladybug!?!" Cat Noir called behind me. He'd been wanting to find out who I was for awhile now but I refused to give him permission to see who I really was. I hid behind a building just in time before my transformation.

"Hide Tikki, Cat is right behind me!" I shoved the Kiwami into my purse and sat up against the building closing my eyes.

"Marinette?" Cat asked as he rounded the building. He placed a hand on my shoulder and I opened my eyes at his touch.

"Cat Noir?" I questioned looking around pretending to be confused.

"What are you doing here?" He asked me. I didn't know if he was concerned about my wellbeing or suspected I was Ladybug so I, of course, lied.

"I'm not sure. I was walking down the street and suddenly I was knocked into the wall." I held the back of my head. "Since you're here I'm assuming there was a villain around."
