Adrien's POV

"Wow you just got dumped!" Plagg laughed at my demise.

"You think so because that performance wasn't convincing. Did you see her just before she left?" I questioned. She seemed so confused and angry.

"Nope I was too focused on this Camembert." Plagg swollowed the cheese whole.

"She limped." I paused for a second; thinking. "Plagg, claws out. We have to pay a visit to a certain someone." I had a hunch that I needed confirmed.

"Adrien is Cat Noir!" Tikki smiled like this was the best thing in the world. "Isn't this awesome!?!"

"No, Tikki, it's not. Adrien likes Ladybug because she's smart, cool and confident. I'm nothing like that and I'll only hurt his image of her." I sighed.

"I don't see what's the problem here." Tikki huffed clearly mad at my outburst. "You ARE Ladybug so that means you ARE all of those things! Adrien is a nice guy he won't be disillusioned by your faults. He likes you the same as you like him. Now you both just need to get to know the other side of each other better."

I sighed again. Maybe Tikki was right and I was making a huge deal out of nothing. I don't know. A part of me just thinks Marinette isn't good enough for him. I turned off the lights and crawled into bed. I don't know why I did, it's not like I was going to be able to sleep. I had just closed my eyes when there was a knock above me on my window and I was being lifted out of my bed by a very suspicious Cat.

"C..Cat..Noir!" I stumbled over his name. This was Adrien! Adrien was standing on my balcony, late at night, in a cat costume.

"Princess." He smiled. "I told her everything."

"What...what...are you talking about?" I asked. Why was he coming here this late to talk about his confession to Ladybug?

"I told Ladybug who I really was." He edged closer as I took a step back.

"Wow, really?" I avoided his eyes. I couldn't look at him the same knowing he was Adrien.

"Yep and you know what she did? She was surprised, then upset, then she gave me reasons why we couldn't be together, and rejected me." He held a hand over his heart like he'd been wounded.

"That's harsh." I frowned knowing I was being totally unfair.

"It was so weird though, right before she took off it looked like she was limping."

"Oh, that is weird." Oh my gosh. He knows. Calm down he's just stating facts right now he's not accusing you of anything.

"And I've been thinking about how she described who she was and I've figured something out. The girl she described reminds me a lot of someone I know." He kept taking steps to get close to me and I kept taking steps back.

"Re...really!?" My eyes grew wide and I pressed myself against the balcony railing.

"She's someone who stutters around me, likes me but doesn't know how to say it and she's clumsy. Admit it Marinette you're My Lady and I'm your Cat." He smiled revealing his pearly white teeth. He was clearly enjoying this.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" I laughed nervously. "What gives you that ridiculous idea?" I looked around trying to find something to help me escape this situation.

"Well, you're avoiding eye contact, stuttering, blushing and it looks like you're about to hurl yourself off your balcony." He laughed as his catty appearance changed into Adrien. "Come here My Lady, My Princess, and My Marinette."

I froze. This was way too good to be true. Adrien wanted to be with me, Marinette.

"Adrien..." I teared up and he pulled me into his arms. "I'm sorry I ran I just didn't think you'd be okay with just Marinette."

He kissed my forehead. "What's not to love?"

And before I could process what all was happening, he pushed me up against the wall and pressed his lips against mine. It was everything I could've ever imagined and more. We pulled away breathless.

"You remember what I said I'd do if I ever found out who Ladybug was." He grinned. "Prepare yourself Marinette because I'm ready to attack."

And since Cat Noir was Adrien I had absolutely no reason to refuse.
