A smile appeared on all of their faces when they spotted me at the entrance.

They were all in the living room and all of their gazes were on me.

I unconsciously run my fingers through my hair.

Alex looked at me and gave me a look that said "I know the reason for your delay."

Of course, he knew. Sya kaya yung reason kung bakit nag palpitate yung puso ko at kung bakit nag short circuit yung utak ko.

I rolled my eyes and pouted at him bago ako lumapit sa kanila.

"My baby." My mom said and wrapped her arms around me.

"Mom." I said, hugging her back.

I looked at her side and mentally groaned when I saw my Dad, looking at me with scrutinizing eyes.

I looked at the ground and started to massage my neck.

"Dad." I paused and looked up at him again, giving him the best puppy eyes I can muster. "I miss you." I mumbled, using my sweetest voice.

I heard someone chuckle.

I tilt my head to the side and see Adien and then Alex, who's throwing me an amusing smile.

I huffed and rolled my eyes at them. Sila kaya yung pumalit sa lugar ko.

"Young lady."

"Yes, Daddy?" I asked with my charming smile.

A woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do.

"Don't use that eyes and voice on me. You've got some serious explaining to do pumpkin."

"But Dad, I didn't do anything wrong." I looked at my Mom, asking for help.

My Mom smiled at me in return and I let out a sigh of relief.

My Mom is obviously on my side kaya wala ng magiging problema kay Daddy.

Thank God for that!

"Give her a break, Love. You knew this was going to happen." My Mom said as he looked at Dad with adoration clear in her eyes.

I mentally shake my head. Daig pa yung bagong kasal ng mga magulang ko kung magtitigan. Amp!

My Dad rolled his eyes and started to stare at Alex.

I can't help but feel proud when Alex didn't even flinch under my Dad's stare.

That's my man! I thought and grinned.

My Dad sighed and again, shook his head. "Just like we promised, you have my blessings." Dad said, patting Alex's back.

I furrowed my eyebrows and stared at them. I looked between my Dad and Alexis.

I tried to catch Alex's eyes but he didn't meet my gaze.

What's with this promise thingy?

I snapped out of my thoughts when someone hugged me from behind.

Napalingon agad ako sa likod ko sa pagkabigla. "Tita Rose!" I gasped and grinned at her.

"Hello Princess. You need to start to call me Mom again, lalo na ngayon at katulad ng sinabi ko, I'm so happy for both of you." She said, beaming at me.

I can't help but chuckle at her giddy expression. Matagal na kasi akong sinasabihan ni Tita Rose na tawagin ko ulit syang Mama Rose.

Especially after that embarrassing dinner with her and my Mom.
