Chapter Thirty-eight

"Morning Ade." I said in a cheery tone while tapping his shoulder.

Ade's face lit up into a big cheeky smile. "How was last night?" He asked and wiggled his eyebrows in a playful manner.

I broke into a giddy smile. "Perfect!" I paused.

I leaned my elbow on the counter and cupped my chin. "Actually, it's beyond perfect." I continued with dreamy daze and sigh.

Ade chuckled and shook his head. "Your expression makes me sick." He said in a teasing tone.

I rolled my eyes. "You love me so suck it up." I replied, grinning from ear to ear.

He shook his head. "As if I have a choice." He paused as his lips turned up. "Where's Kuya?"

"Still sleeping in my bed." Kaswal na sagot ko kay Ade habang nilalagyan ko ng butter at maple syrup yung pancake ko.

Ade chuckled, dahilan para mapatigil ako sa pag lalaway sa pancake na nasa harap ko.

I looked up at him and raised my eyebrows inquiringly.

"If I didn't know you better, I'll think that you slept with him. Be careful with your words, Baby doll." He said, amusement is all over his face.

I blushed.

He laughed.

"Stop laughing, you brute." I said and smacked him across his chest.

"Ok!Ok!" Natatawa pa rin na sabi nito habang sinasalag yung mga palo ko.

I yelped in surprise when someone grabbed my hand. "Alexis."

He stood behind my stool and bent over me, wrapping his arms around my shoulders. He kissed the top of my head.

He's touch always sent shivers down my spine.

He raised his index finger lifting my chin to his and hovered above my face. "Alexis?" He smirked and raised his eyebrow in a sexy manner.

Darn! Those sexy lips and eyes again.

He's even more tempting than my pancake.

I giggled, resting my head against his chest. "Bana Ko." pagtatama ko sa tawag dito.

"Much better." He kissed the tip of my nose. "Why didn't you wake me up?" He asked and gave my lips a quick peck.

"You looked so tired last night." I replied and gave his lips a quick peck.

He pouted.

Geezzz! He looks so adorable.

"But I want to wake up with you by my side."

I broke into a brilliant and giddy smile.

Pero bago pa ako makapag salita, Ade slammed his hand at the counter really hard.

We both snapped our head at Ade's direction.

"Enough with your cheesiness! It's making me vomit."

I giggled while Alex shook his head.

"Then leave." Alex said and gave Ade a flat look.

Alex leaned down and gave my lips another peck.

I pulled away from Alex and looked up at Ade. "Go get yourself a real girlfriend, Ade."

Alex playfully pinched my tummy dahil sa double meaning na sinabi ko kay Ade.

I giggled and kissed Alex's cheek.
