Steven Universe: In Too Deep

Malachite Unleashed

Two melons are playing footbag and another one is playing with a drum. One of melons playing footbag suddenly convulses and drops down to the ground on his back with its eyes closed.

The melon with the drum stops playing as it stares with the other at their fallen friend. The melon then opens its eyes as it abruptly sits up. A tremor shakes the island and the other melons jump up and run away.

Steven runs to meet up with the Gems who have found Malachite who is struggling to break free from her chains. She roars as her chains rattle near the beach. Garnet folds her arms.

"Alright. Let's put an end to this." Pearl and Amethyst nod in agreement. Malachite continues to roar as she tries get loose. The Gems spread out and then they start to dance.

Amethyst feels her hair as it sways to the rhythm. Pearl spins around as Garnet snaps her fingers. As Pearl and Amethyst get closer, Garnet signals them by feeling both directions of her hair. Finally, she spins her arms as Pearl and Amethyst embrace them.

The Gems become a bright light as they grow to reach their new form: Alexandrite. Now, as a worthy opponent for Malachite, they watch and get ready for the clash. "Give up! Argh!"

Malachite has broken from her chains. Finally free, she feels her arms and gets a hold of them. She pants in exhaustion. "I'm impressed! You really held out." Alexandrite tenses up this occurence.

"MALACHITE!" Malachite looks back at Alexandrite and gasps. "Huh! They're here!" Malachite struggles to contain herself. "Ugh, stop!" She tenses up.

"Pathetic! Don't you see? We've been holding us back for too long. And for what? If we're going to be this thing together, why don't we have some fun?" Alexandrite opens its second mouth.

"We don't have to fight! You're outnumbered." Malachite smiles. She raises two water hands out of the ocean. "I may be outnumbered, but you're out of your depth!" The water hands turn into fists. "I can't wait to tear you gems apart!"

Alexandrite roars and charges towards Malachite. A wave hits the beach which takes Steven with it. Malachite sends a water fist towards Alexandrite. She dodges it and jumps. Malachite then lauches the other water fist.

Steven gets up and notices that the other water fist got Alexandrite. Alexandrite holds her breath as the water hand holds her down. She unleashes fire from her second mouth, sending it towards Malachite.

She drops below the surface as the fire spreads across the ocean. She lets go of the water hand, freeing Alexandrite. She drops back down onto the water as Malachite rises up holding water bubbles in her hand.

The bubbles turn into sharp, ice shards and they are launched at Alexandrite. Alexandrite pulls out Amethyst's whip to take out the shards. She then takes out Pearl's spear to form a bow.

Alexandrite then sends a huge arrow at Malachite which becomes seperate arrows of light as they head towards the same target. Malachite quickly pulls up an ice wall just in time as the arrows hit it instead of her.

After the icy smoke clears, Malachite flies straight up into the air with Lapis's water wings. Steven runs away, realizing what she's about to do. Alexandrite looks up as Malachite spins in a ball.

Malachite summons Jasper's helmet and lunges right into Alexandrite. Steven tries to run away as the collision heads right towards him. An explosion occurs as Steven is sent flying into the air.
