Chapter 14

A year later. Time for college. "Hey Annie, it's the big day!" My mom said. She teared up. "Don't cry mom." I hugged her. "Your not little anymore." "I know." We were finishing packing. "Please don't cry mom, I'll be alright. I'll visit you from time to time." My dad came in. He hugged mom. "It's going to be alright." "Come here Annie." I came over there. "I'm going to tear up too, give daddy a hug big girl." He cried. "I'll be fine guys." They looked at each other and smiled. "Want a ride? We have to leave in 30 minutes." My mom asked. "No thank you I have a ride with Brennan but thank you." I said. They teared up. Hayley came in. She was a freshman in High School now. "I'm going to really miss you Annie." She said hugging me. "Come here Hayley." I said. We layed on the couch with each other. "I know you will miss me, I will miss you too, but I'm going to college for a good job." I said. "I love you Annie." "I love you too, remember I will visit from time to time." I smile. She smiles back. "Visit every weekend!" She laughed. I laughed with her. "Ok." Pretty soon it was time to go. In 10 minutes, Brennan will be here. "You ready Annie?" My mom asked. "Yeah I'm ready." 10 minutes flew by. I heard a car door shut. Brennan is here. "Mom, Brennan's here." My dad and mom came rushing into the living room. They hugged me. "You'll do you fine, have fun, I will miss you." She said tearing up. "Remember visit every weekend like Hayley said, you'll do great!" My dad said. Hayley came in. "Bye Annie, I'll miss you." I smile. "I'll miss you guys too, love ya." I hugged them one last time. The door bell rang. "I'll get it!" I said racing to the door. "Hi Brennan." He smiled. "Hi Annie, you ready?" "Yes." I smile. I turned around and said one last goodbye. "Bye guys, I will miss you!" "Bye!" They all said. I closed the door. "How are you?" Brennan asked while we were walking to his car. "I'm good, you?" "Good as well." He smiles. "You ready for the big road trip?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm ready." I smile. We got in the car and started the big road trip off to college.
