A broken heart

I went to the hospital room. I knock on the door. "Come in!" A voice said. I opened the door. I saw Brennan there laying on a hospital bed injured. I couldn't stand to see him like this. A nurse was sitting next to him in a chair. "It's ok honey, you can come closer." The nurse said. I took a big breath. "Hey Brennan." I said as I was walking towards him. He gave a quick smile. His head had a bandage on it. His head had bruises. Next to his eye was a big bruise and some blood still leaking. Aw, I felt bad for him, I wish this have never happened. "I came here to talk to you." I said. "I'll leave you two alone for a couple minutes." The nurse said. "Ok." I smile. "See you in a bit you two." She smiled. She closed the door. I sighed. "So, Hi Brennan." I smile. "Hey." He says quietly. The room fell silent for a minute. No talking. "So..." I said breaking the silence. I cried. Tears started to run down my face. I covered my mouth. "Hey hey hey." Brennan said calming me down. "It's going to be alright, I'll be with you forever, no matter what happens." He smiles. I smile and let out a crying laugh. "Oh, Brennan, I miss you! I wish this have never happened and things went back to normal." I said. "I know." He said. "Me too." He said looking into my eyes. "Your still beautiful." He smiled. "Aw, thanks Brennan." I smile. "Should we talk about what happened?" He frowned. "No, I don't feel like it." He said sadly. "I know, I wouldn't either." I said also sadly. I could feel his pain. My heart ached. I heard the door open. "Hey you two. Honey, I believe it's time for you to go, Brennan gots to eat and get some rest, ok?" "Ok." I said. "Bye Brennan." I said putting my hand in his. "Bye." He said rubbing my hand. I looked back one last time. He smiled. I smiled too. I closed the door and went back to our dorm.
