BELLAS POV

It was the day before the talent show. I walked into school seeing all these posters of girls in sparkly outfits. I looked down and realized I was wearing a floral skirt and white open toe heels.
I feel confident. My hair swept back in a bobby pin. White purse. Bangles.
Eyes on me as I walk up Jake's locker.
"Hey" I say with a smile as he looks over to me
His eyes widen as he tries to put words together.
"You look.. Different" he says
"Hehe yep! I decided I should act more like a lady" I say giggling
"It's pretty... I have to go to class now" he says
"Oh okay?" I say
He walks away and I sigh.
He should appreciate I'm even talking to him.
I walk into class and I sit in the front row. I want everyone to see me.
I don't want to be shy anymore. Like I said, I'm a different person now.
Faith sits next to me and she scans me up and down. I'm sitting with my leg over the other.
"You look nice" she says
"Thank you, boo" I say smiling
"Like.. What happened though?" She asks
"Well after Sunday, I guess I just felt like I should be someone new if I didn't like myself" I respond
"But--" she starts
Sam and Will walk in and they see my blushed dolly face.
They sit in the back and I can hear then whispering.
Katy walks in and she looks bummed.
"Oh.. I see" she says to herself
"Katy, what's wrong?" I ask
"I forgot Liz wasn't here. Who cares.. She's probably enjoying her new house. She's happy and that's all that matters" she replies
I just stare down at the desk not knowing what to say.

FAITHS POV

It became break. Everyone is talking about the talent show. I want to audition for singing, but I'm not sure about it. I'm too shy.
No one has ever heard me sing. Not even Bella. It's my worst fear for anyone to hear me. So I just sit there waiting for confidence.. Waiting for my chance... Waiting for my dream to happen. But it won't. Oh well.
Others are happy, so I'm happy.
Bella is talking to Katy and Will. I think they're talking about the show.
So I walk up and greet them.
"HEY GUISE!" I yell
"Oh hey" Will says and goes back to talking
I know it might seem like they're neglecting me.. But I know they like me.
"So does anyone have any talent?" Will asks
"I play piano a bit but it's not like a big talent" Katy says
"I used to sing as a little girl, I haven't sung in awhile though" Bella replies
