Chapter 10

BELLAS POV

We got down on the ground and all I could think about is the kiss. We didn't say anything afterwards. We just looked at each other until one of us couldn't handle it any longer and looked away.

We got to the bus station and we just went home. We said 'night and went different ways.

Even if I didn't say anything I really wanted to say something.

And maybe that would be "I love you".

But I don't know if that'd be a lie.

Or how he'd respond. It was just a kiss. You can kiss without loving one another.

So I went in my room that night and laid on my bed. The comfort of the warm bed made me doze off even in my costume.

I woke up and it was Friday. We don't have school since yesterday ya know.

But I wondered if I should tell Katy and Faith, then again... They both really like him. Everyone likes Will.

Even me.

So I guess I just need to keep quiet.

It's going to be hard, though.

I grabbed my phone and found out Will had texted me.

Will-I-Am: So... I guess you know now.

I responded with;

TheBella: Yeah. And tbh I like you too.

I didn't want to keep secret anymore, well I didn't want to make him sad either. Like his question unanswered.

I got up and took off my costume and got into jeans and uggs. I wanted to do something, but I didn't know what.

I guess I'll just do something myself. Maybe go to town and get a coffee.

I took the bus to the coffee shop across from the mall.

"I'll order a cotton candy frap" I say to the (hot) boy taking my order

"Mkay, what's your name?" He asks

"Bel-" I start then a boy turns around and his eyes startle me.

"I'll take this." The boy says to the other boy.

I feel like the boy is familiar but I can't place a name.

"Nice job in the paper." The boys says

Then it hits me

"Jake? You work here? I didn't recognize you in your uniform" I say

"But what about the paper?" I ask

"Take a look for yourself." He says handing me a news paper and one of the stories is called 'HALLOWEEN ROMANCE'.

My heart stops and there's a picture from behind of Will and I's kiss.

"It says that it'll probably make people wanna come to the fair" Jake says

"How come you seem so cool about this?" I ask

"Well, we're like kind of over I guess so" he responds

"I was your first kiss? I fell asleep with you in the middle of nowhere? And you can just throw that away?!" I say

"Hey, you're causing a scene and there's people behind you. here's the frap." He says sending me away.

I walk out and I feel so pissed. I take a sip and it tastes bitter so I just throw it on the ground with all my might and people start starring.
