Two weeks passed and Ariana was back up on her feet. I knew something was troubling her. She would dissapear into the forest from time to time. She hasn't ridden for ages, so she probably just misses that.

I watched her lunge Ren in the arena. He listened willingly. Those two had the strongest bond. It was truly cute.

I watched as Ariana tied Renegade up on the cross ties. She brushed him over then put on his bridle. She walked him toward the mounting block.

"A-Are you sure you want to do this?" I said as she started to get on him.

"I'm fine." She said, forcing a smile. I stepped back and out of her way as she walked forward. Renegade moved smoothly. I decided to get Moon out. She greeted me with a neigh. The others were feeding their horses and all, too busy to notice me. I sneakily put on her western bridle and walked out to join Ariana. She looked at Moon wide eyed, but shrugged it off, continuing to warm her horse up. I joined her.

Moon trotted willingly around the arena. She even did a bit of barrels. I watched as Ariana did them at a fast speed, wondering how she could possibly stay on. It was amazing after all the trauma how she could do this. I watched her round the barrels perfectly when I heard a deep voice behind me.

"NIALL JAMES HORAN!" I turned to see Harry behind me. He looked pissed.

"WHY ARE YOU RIDING WESTERN?" He yelled very angrily.

"English is too proper for me. I like it better." I said, patting Moon's neck. He stormed out, very angrily. I stuck my tongue out then turned back to Ariana. She was riding as if that little conversation never happened. I kissed Moon on and she cantered off.

Ariana's POV

I had climbed off Ren a while ago. My stomach lightly hurt, I wasn't in too much pain. I walked into the hay room and sat in my usual spot. A dark figure joined me. In the dim light I saw the curls.

"Why?" I blurted.

"I-I don't know. I just like to be the most appreciated in the barn. Now I'm the least." He explained, a hint of sadness in his voice. I muttered a choice word then looked up at him.

"I personally hate being the best. But ya know, being the best takes a lot of work. You have to be nice and you have to work hard." I explained. He sighed. I looked at him as he lifted his head up. I turned my head when I heard Niall and Harry left. He sat down across from me and smiled.

"There isn't anything going on between you two right?" He asked.

"No, and he has a relationship with Lou." I said. Niall nodded and it all became silent.

20 minuted passed before I realized that he was asleep. I sighed, knowing i had to do what I had to do. I am an Equestrian, I can do this. I thought to myself. I picked him up bridal style and slowly moved my way to the house. He was a heavy boy, that's for sure. I eventually made my way up the stairs in the house. I laid him on a bed in one of the guest room. I started to make my way out of the room when I heard a whisper behind me. "Don't leave." He yawned. I sighed and walked back to the bed. I laid on the opposite side of the bed, facing him. "You're strong." he yawned. I chuckled, playing with his hair. He smiled and curled up under the blankets. I eventually did the same after it had gotten cold in the room.

"G'night Niall." I mumbled, closing my eyes.

"G'night Ariana. Love you." I barely heard the last part, but I knew what he said. I smiled to myself, but then stopped. I can't date a member of One Direction. I just can't.

"Aww look how adorable they are!" A voice filled the room.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Shut up Lou." Another one said. I came to realization that I was curled up next to Niall, like, right next to him, and his left arm was draped over me, the other one under me. Our legs were entertwined.
"Picture for Twitter!" I heard Louis say. I jolted up.
"NO!" I said. That woke Niall.
"Everything alright?" He said in a REALLY cute raspy voice.
"Y-Yeah. Just don't put me on Twitter! I don't want any hate." I said, walking out of the room. I heard Louis sigh and Harry mutter something.
I showered and pulled on a new pair of jeans I got. I pulled on a yellow tank top. I pulled my hair up in a ponytail and pulled on my boots. I walked out, my ponytail hitting me in the face once and a while. I finally reached the barn and walked over to Renegade's stall. He nickered then went back to eating. "Stop eating Mr. Fatty." I chuckled, turning around. Niall was putting Moon in the stall opposite mine.
He turned and smiled. "I like Western more." I giggled then walked into the tack room. I spent my time polishing my show saddle and bridle. A show was coming up soon. It was this weekend, actually!
I woke up early that morning, around 5 AM. I hurridley pulled an old pair of jeans and a black top on. I pulled my boots on and brushed out my hair. I ran out of the house and into the barn. I groomed Renegade until he was nice and shiny then took him out to work him. I lunged him for 20 minutes then rode a bareback barrel run. Satisfied, I put him back in his stall and fed him. I then ran into the house and took a nice shower. I then dried and brushed my hair again. I pulled on a new pair of jeans, a white shirt with a light blue and white flannel shirt over it. I buttoned up five of the buttons then put on my fancy show belt. I pulled on my showing boots and hurried outside. The boys were there. They helped me brush Renegade again until he was shiney. I loaded him in the trailer/motorhome and walked into the front. Our driver, Nancy, drove off once everyone was here. I was competing against Anne and some other girls. Emma managed to come along also. We sat in the little living area when Louis walked over to the radio. He turned one of his songs, Story Of My Life, on full blast. He sat down and the boys started singing. I couldn't help but join. Annie and the other girls started ot sing. It ended up being a full-out dance party. After the song was over, I plopped down on the couch, reaching for my show hat on the side. It had these really pretty light blue stones on it. I smiled at the prized possesion, then setting it back down.
It took an hour to get to the show arena. I took Renegade out of the trailer then walked into the barn. He followed me willingly, used to the procedure. I pat his neck as he walked into his stall. I gave him a little treat then walked over to the warm-up arena. People were already warming up even though the show doesn't start for another 2 hours. I walked over to the boys who were sitting in a circle around a little fire. It was pretty cold out.
"Hey!" Niall said, hugging me. He pulled me down onto his lap. I bit my lip, trying not to blush. I didn't. Phew.
"Hey guys!" I said after a silence. Harry looked PISSED.
We sat there talking for a while. I then realized that there were 40 minutes until the show.
"Gotta go, you all should find seats soon!" I then skipped off. I walked into the barn and hurridley brushed Renegade. he looked nice and shiny by the time I was done. I quickly tacked him up and walked into the warm up arena. After I warmed him up, it was five minutes until my turn. I trotted him to the starting gate. The crowd was huge and I was nervous. I strapped my hat onto my head, my hands shaking. I stood behind the line of people. Before I knew it, it was my turn. I stood at the gate, super nervous. Renegade was dancing around, ready to run.
I then shot out of the gate.
